Irish Jane P. Macas BSCE-1 The Seven Principles of Environment. 1. “Everything is connected to everything else.” Nutrient cycling is a natural process that requires special attention. Nutrients are transferred from the environment to organisms and then returned to the environment in nature. Any break in the cycle can result in an imbalance. Nature has all of the answers. It knows what's best for us on occasion. 2. “Everything is nature has to go somewhere” The ecology notion best illustrates this theory. All biotic and amniotic components of an ecosystem interact with one another to guarantee the system's long-term viability. Any external influence could cause an imbalance and the system to degrade. 3. “Nature knows best” Nutrient cycling is one natural process that requires considerable attention. Nutrients travel from the environment to organisms and then back to the environment in nature. Any interruption to the cycle can result in an imbalance. Nature has all the answers. It knows what is best for us at times. 4. “Everything in nature changes” It is claimed that the only thing that is constant is change. Nothing in our world is everchanging, and nothing is ever-lasting. Even on a daily basis, people try to adapt their lifestyles to fit into the world. 5. “All forms of life are important” When you toss away a piece of paper, it vanishes from view but does not vanish from existence. It's lost. Everything has its own path to take, and nothing has no path to take. 6. “Our is finite earth” How long would the earth's resources be able to withstand the demands placed on them? This is a topic on which considerable thought is required. The collapse of the world may be unavoidable unless causes such as population increase, lifestyles, and damaging technologies are addressed. 7. “Nature is God’s gift to all, and it is everybody’s duty to protect it.” Among all creatures, humans are the only ones made in God's image and have been given the right to have dominion over all His creations. Being the most intelligent and gifted with reason, humans are capable of manipulating creation to their own advantage. We are made not to rule the world but to help the world. Humans are God's creation and we need to take care of everything. Reference: Supilanas, R. I., and Bautistam A. D. 2019.
