1. General Description
The F81604 is a USB to dual CAN bus controllers for the Controller Area Network (CAN) used for
the general industrial environment. F81604 supports the CAN 2.0A and CAN2.0B protocol specification
with the several new features, and fully-integrated with USB1.1 interface. The F81604 is fully software
compatible with device drivers for Windows & Linux and can be configured to fit the requirements of
applications. These features as the above description will help you more and improve the product value.
The F81604 is in the package of 16-QFN (4mm*4mm).

6. Function Description
6.1
CAN Bus
The F81604 provides dual CAN Bus controller channel. The F81604 is designed to support the full CAN
2.0B protocol specification. It means that the extended oscillator tolerance is implemented as well as the
processing of extended frame messages. In Basic CAN mode is possible to transmit and receive standard
frame messages (11-bit identifier). If extended frame messages (29-bit identifier) are detected on the
CAN-bus, they are tolerated and an acknowledge is given if the message was correct, but there is no
receive interrupt generated.
6.2
Control Pin
F81604 provides 2 output signal(pin9.10). In normally, they can output with 12 mA source-sink capability. It
