Good day!
The Grade 12 HUMSS students would like to request permission to conduct a Community Outreach
Program at San Roque Chapel, Tagaytay, Can-asujan, Carcar City, Cebu on the 16th day of June 2023
from 8:00 am-12:00 noon. As part of class requirements in the academic subjects: Community
Engagement, Solidarity, and Citizenship to achieve the learning competencies: 1) Implement
community action initiatives and 2) Appreciate the value of applying social sciences in community
action initiatives. With the learning objectives: To actualize one’s desire to work together with other
people and build “communities of solidarities” through actual community work and concrete
development projects.
The purpose of the Community Outreach Program is to foster student’s community engagement,
promote solidarity and citizenship, and enhance interpersonal skills through meaningful interactions
with the nursery children of Tagaytay Daycare Center, Tagaytay, Can-asujan, Carcar City, Cebu.
Attached herewith is the list of names of the students that will participate in the community outreach
Program.
