moving a car on it.
Steps to be followed:
7
●
First make a rocket balloon car. (Watch this video to make
https://youtu.be/-OENIttg1dU
●
Take three types of surfaces like normal surface, smooth
surface (oily), rough surface (sand) of same distance.
●
Move a car on the surface with the same inflated balloon and
measure time in each case.
●
Find the speed of a car in each case.
●
Compare the surfaces and write the reason behind it.
WHERE TO DO? – Science Subject Enrichment Notebook
PARAMETER- Presentation and Analysis
Make a solar Desalinator (Roll no 1-20)
Plastic wrap-covered container of
water linked to a cup by a drinking
straw
Clean fresh water is a valuable
commodity. Construct solar-powered
desalination devices with readily
available materials, and find the most
effective desalination methods.
1. Draw a picture of your model.
2. Write the principle on which it works.
3. Working of this model
Build a light bulb (Roll numbers 21-40)
First, use the steps at the link to build a
simple light bulb with a jar, some wire,
and a 6-volt battery.
Then, turn it into an eighth-grade science
fair experiment by tinkering with the
various materials to make a light bulb
that lasts longer, burns brighter, or is
powered by an alternative source.
