MOTIVATION/SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP
The main Motivation for this internship was, I had to work on live project with mentors.
Earlier my knowledge and skills was tested with only offline projects. Here I found challenging work
which was maintaining a live project while working on it.
Another motivation is Internship Provides Real Life Experience and Exposure. It helps to get
connected and develop your professional network.
Having an internship benefits you in the working environment, and it also builds your
professional network. There is a 1 in 16 chance of securing a job by connecting with people, so
networking is critical. Internships provide a great environment to meet professionals in the career field
you want to pursue, as well as other interns who have similar interests.
Internships are a great way to apply the knowledge from the classroom to real-world
experience. Learning is one thing, but taking those skills into the workforce and applying them is a
great way to explore different career paths and specializations that suit individual interests. Having an
internship gives you experience in the career field you want to pursue. Not only does this give
individuals an edge over other candidates when applying for jobs, it also prepares them for what to
expect in their field and increases confidence in their work.

METHODOLOGIES LEARNT IN INTERNSHIP
An Dead end project involves the use of electronic seals or digital signatures to provide
authentication and security to electronic documents, transactions, and communications. The
methodology for implementing an e-seal project typically involves the following steps:
 Define the project scope and objectives: Determine the scope of the Dead end project and
the objectives it aims to achieve. Identify the electronic documents and transactions that
require digital signatures or seals.
 Identify the legal and regulatory requirements: Identify the legal and regulatory
requirements that apply to the Dead end project. Ensure that the project complies with
applicable laws and regulations.
 Select the e-seal technology: Identify the Dead end technology that best suits the project
requirements. Evaluate various e-seal solutions available in the market and choose the one
that provides the required level of security, reliability, and scalability.
 Design the e-seal system architecture: Design the Dead end system architecture that
includes the hardware, software, and network infrastructure required to support the Dead end
solution.
 Develop and test the Dead end system: Develop and test the e-seal system to ensure that
it meets the project requirements and is ready for deployment.
 Deploy the Dead end system: Deploy the Dead end system in the production environment.
Train the users on how to use the Dead end system effectively and securely.
 Monitor and maintain the e-seal system: Monitor the Dead end system regularly to ensure
that it operates smoothly and securely. Perform periodic maintenance activities, such as
software updates and hardware upgrades, to keep the Dead end system up-to-date and secure.
In internship of DIESEL LOCO SHED we used some Hardware, we used sensors, computer
technology and software engineering to simply and manage these tasks. Data is collected through
thousands at different locations throughout the facility. the information is stored and analyzed on
a computer Software and mobile Application.

INTRODUCTION TO HARDWARE
1. IR Sensor
IR: An infrared sensor (IR sensor) is a radiation-sensitive optoelectronic component with a spectral
sensitivity in the infrared wavelength range 780 nm … 50 µm. IR sensors are now widely used in
motion detectors, which are used in building services to switch on lamps or in alarm systems to
detect unwelcome guests. In a defined angle range, the sensor elements detect the heat radiation
(infrared radiation) that changes over time and space due to the movement of people. Such infrared
sensors only have to meet relatively low requirements and are low-cost mass-produced items.
InfraTec does not supply such products, InfraTec develops, produces and pyroelectric detectors.

2. Buzzer
Buzzer: A buzzer or beeper is an audio signaling device, which may be mechanical,
electromechanical, or piezoelectric (piezo for short). Typical uses of buzzers and beepers include
alarm devices, timers, train and confirmation of user input such as a mouse click or keystroke.

3. GPS Module
GPS module: Almost every smart device uses GPS to track and monitor your location, and other
physical activities over a distance. It helps you navigate from Point A to Point B.
But do you know, how GPS does this, how does GPS work, and what are its other uses? Well, we’ll
discuss the same here in this article. Let’s understand how the GPS system works, what it is used
for, how accurate it is, and its receivers and modules work.

4. GSM Module
GSM module: A GSM modem or GSM module is a device that uses GSM mobile telephone
technology to provide a wireless data link to a network. GSM modems are used in mobile telephones
and other equipment that communicates with mobile telephone networks. They use SIMs to identify
their device to the network.

SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT BY INDUSTRY
The company has suggested some aspects where I can help myself to grow. The important
suggestion was about technologies, they wanted me to learn more on new technologies other than
the one we are using currently. My supervisor suggested that I can be more specific while expressing
my views. They suggested that I can improve my technical and coding skills as well. They also
suggested to get aware of financial workflows in a company, required for an employee.
Having a clear set of values for your company is another effective way to improve morale and
provide guidance to staff. Creating and publishing your company values and morals provides a
clear guideline for what the company stands for and is working towards. This can provide guidance
for staff on the preferred course of action when faced with a decision during work, and also may
provide a positive outlook on what the work they contribute to the company builds toward.
Creating procedures for clearly defining goals and expectations for staff members can help to
improve their productivity. Setting defined goals provides targets for employees to work toward
and assess their performance against. It also ensures that employees complete work that contributes
to the overall goals of the organization and can be an important step in facilitating projects that
require multiple employees or teams to work independently for significant periods of time before
unifying their work.

10. CONCLUSION
On the whole, this internship was a useful experience. I have gained new knowledge, skills and met
many new people. I achieved several of my learning goals, however for some the conditions did not
permit. I got insight into professional practice. I learned the different facets of working within a
Project Team. I experienced the vast learning about various Mega Projects, as in many
organisations, is an important factor for the progress of projects. Related to my study I learned more
about the Sensors and Industry requirement. There is still a lot to discover and to improve. The
methods used at the moment are still not standardized and a consistent method is in development. In
Industry Knowledge is an important aspect of the conservation of the Projects. I have seen that Team
Members can contribute to conservation, for example with their knowledge. Further more I
experienced that it is of importance that the education is objective and that you have to be aware of
the view of other people. Finally I learnt A Lot and Gained Experience.
