INTRODUCTION Diesel Loco Shed home Diesel Electrical Locomotives of various types. The shed carries out preventive maintenance of locomotives by following various preventive maintenance schedules. Locomotives after turning out from shed carries out various train movements and after stipulated Kms. visits the shed again for checks and schedules. The mainly Focus on New Technology. To Make this Task Easy We were choose as Part of this Company to overcome Project to Help achieve their projects. We as A Third Year Engineering Students we worked on: Dead End Technology Me and my group partner under vision of mentor worked on this project our main Moto was to acquire these project as an software. I got to learn about admin dashboard in known as Software.It has too many easy to use and built-in features. My role in first 10 Days was to learn about environment of the Project. It uses some files database as well as Android software to create database and web application connection. It was installed on the hosting platform. DOMAIN OF INTERNSHIP The main objective of this internship is to get the knowledge about the Dead End project and get the practical knowledge of real world project. Integrate theory and practice. : Integration of theory and practice knowledge is one of the most important aspect in career. Until we don’t use theory knowledge to apply on practice it is almost useless. That’s a thing I want to achieve. 2. Develop work habits and attitudes necessary for job success. : Fitting in work environment is also one necessary thing. This includes work life balance as well. It also includes personal attitude (behavior) based on work. I want to develop work habits as well. 3. Develop communication, interpersonal and other critical skills in the job interview process. : Developing good communication skills can help in various fields. Along with that we should be developing interpersonal skills such as teamwork, sharing, etc. I can achieve this while working on internship project. 4. MOTIVATION/SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP The main Motivation for this internship was, I had to work on live project with mentors. Earlier my knowledge and skills was tested with only offline projects. Here I found challenging work which was maintaining a live project while working on it. Another motivation is Internship Provides Real Life Experience and Exposure. It helps to get connected and develop your professional network. Having an internship benefits you in the working environment, and it also builds your professional network. There is a 1 in 16 chance of securing a job by connecting with people, so networking is critical. Internships provide a great environment to meet professionals in the career field you want to pursue, as well as other interns who have similar interests. Internships are a great way to apply the knowledge from the classroom to real-world experience. Learning is one thing, but taking those skills into the workforce and applying them is a great way to explore different career paths and specializations that suit individual interests. Having an internship gives you experience in the career field you want to pursue. METHODOLOGIES LEARNT IN INTERNSHIP An Dead end project involves the use of electronic seals or digital signatures to provide authentication and security to electronic documents, transactions, and communications. The methodology for implementing an e-seal project typically involves the following steps: Define the project scope and objectives: Determine the scope of the Dead end project and the objectives it aims to achieve. Identify the electronic documents and transactions that require digital signatures or seals. Identify the legal and regulatory requirements: Identify the legal and regulatory requirements that apply to the Dead end project. Ensure that the project complies with applicable laws and regulations. Select the e-seal technology: Identify the Dead end technology that best suits the project requirements. Evaluate various e-seal solutions available in the market and choose the one that provides the required level of security, reliability, and scalability. Design the e-seal system architecture: Design the Dead end system architecture that includes the hardware, software, and network infrastructure required to support the Dead end solution. Develop and test the Dead end system: Develop and test the e-seal system to ensure that it meets the project requirements and is ready for deployment. Deploy the Dead end system: Deploy the Dead end system in the production environment. Train the users on how to use the Dead end system effectively and securely. Monitor and maintain the e-seal system: Monitor the Dead end system regularly to ensure that it operates smoothly and securely. In internship of DIESEL LOCO SHED we used some Hardware, we used sensors, computer technology and software engineering to simply and manage these tasks. INTRODUCTION TO HARDWARE 1. IR Sensor IR: An infrared sensor (IR sensor) is a radiation-sensitive optoelectronic component with a spectral sensitivity in the infrared wavelength range 780 nm … 50 µm. IR sensors are now widely used in motion detectors, which are used in building services to switch on lamps or in alarm systems to detect unwelcome guests. In a defined angle range, the sensor elements detect the heat radiation (infrared radiation) that changes over time and space due to the movement of people. Such infrared sensors only have to meet relatively low requirements and are low-cost mass-produced items. Buzzer Buzzer: A buzzer or beeper is an audio signaling device, which may be mechanical, electromechanical, or piezoelectric (piezo for short). GSM Module GSM module: A GSM modem or GSM module is a device that uses GSM mobile telephone technology to provide a wireless data link to a network. GSM modems are used in mobile telephones and other equipment that communicates with mobile telephone networks. They use SIMs to identify their device to the network. Arduino Uno Arduino: The Arduino Uno is an open-source microcontroller board based on the Microchip ATmega328P microcontroller and developed by Arduino.cc and initially released in 2010. The board is equipped with sets of digital and analog input/output pins that may be interfaced to various expansion boards and other circuits. I wanted to get the knowledge about the Dead End project and get the practical knowledge of real world project. And get know the hardware components that need in the internship project. SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT BY INDUSTRY The company has suggested some aspects where I can help myself to grow. The important suggestion was about technologies, they wanted me to learn more on new technologies other than the one we are using currently. My supervisor suggested that I can be more specific while expressing my views. They suggested that I can improve my technical and coding skills as well. They also suggested to get aware of financial workflows in a company, required for an employee. Having a clear set of values for your company is another effective way to improve morale and provide guidance to staff. Creating and publishing your company values and morals provides a clear guideline for what the company stands for and is working towards. This can provide guidance for staff on the preferred course of action when faced with a decision during work, and also may provide a positive outlook on what the work they contribute to the company builds toward. Creating procedures for clearly defining goals and expectations for staff members can help to improve their productivity. Setting defined goals provides targets for employees to work toward and assess their performance against. It also ensures that employees complete work that contributes to the overall goals of the organization and can be an important step in facilitating projects that require multiple employees or teams to work independently for significant periods of time before unifying their work. 14 SITS/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering/UG/2023-24/3401058 10. CONCLUSION On the whole, this internship was a useful experience. I have gained new knowledge, skills and met many new people. I achieved several of my learning goals, however for some the conditions did not permit. I got insight into professional practice. I learned the different facets of working within a Project Team. I experienced the vast learning about various Mega Projects, as in many organisations, is an important factor for the progress of projects. Related to my study I learned more about the Sensors and Industry requirement. There is still a lot to discover and to improve. The methods used at the moment are still not standardized and a consistent method is in development. In Industry Knowledge is an important aspect of the conservation of the Projects. I have seen that Team Members can contribute to conservation, for example with their knowledge. Further more I experienced that it is of importance that the education is objective and that you have to be aware of the view of other people.
