Soft and chewy crinkle cookies are dusted with powdered sugar before baking to create their distinctively cracked appearance. Although they can be created with other flavors, they are frequently prepared with chocolate. In recent years, purple yam has become a popular food on social media and in other countries. Several regions of the world are looking more closely at Filipino food because of its surge in popularity. This is why the proponents considered setting up a food stand at STI College in General Santos City for the expo, where they could showcase the products to the Filipino educators and learners who make up as the target market of the company and those who enjoy eating sweets and snacks. CK’s Delight stall features a white and purple motif that allows to put own touch in the form of printed logos, images, or even the use of own products, creating a simple and cute ambiance while showcasing the product with white porcelain cake stands or wire cupcake trees. CK’s Delight will serve snacks and drinks to local customers while also providing a pleasant ambiance, excellent customer service, and a clean environment. Business Concept CK’s Delight is a local crinkle with a twist business that innovates the classic crinkle into a more delightful crinkle with filling. The business is focused on providing customers with the perfect extraordinary crinkles that will surely satisfy their cravings. 1 The company ensures that only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, and delivering exceptional customer service that leaves a lasting impression. The company’s signature product is ube crinkle with ube halaya filling and two additional flavors such as red velvet with buttercream filling and chocolate with chocolate filling. The ingredients is highly source from local shops here in General Santos City and the crinkles are handcrafted with care, ensuring that each one is perfectly baked and filled. CK’s Delight also offer a variety of packaging options, making it easy for customers to enjoy delicious and yummy crinkles as a treat for themselves or to give as gifts. The crinkles will be handmade in small batches to ensure consistent quality and freshness. The company will source out ingredients from local suppliers whenever possible to support the community and reduce our environmental impact. CK’s Delight baking facility will be equipped with high-quality equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy in our production process. One of the company’s goals is to expand the product line to include other Filipino-inspired sweet treats, while maintaining commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. The business will focus on crinkles itself and will partner it with a coffee or drink. 5 The selling takes place inside the school such as the canteen. In our 2nd year operation, we will produce mamon and cupcakes which will be sold in nearby bakeshops. In our 3rd year operation, we will add cakes and the selling will also takes place both online and nearby bakeshops. In our 4th year, we will try to adapt customized cakes made for special occasions and will be displayed in our stall in malls. Lastly, in our 5th year we will offer more flavors and variations of the products and will continuously sell through social media platforms and target more store branches. ‘ 6 Chapter II EXECUTIVE SUMMARY CK's Delight strives to change people's perceptions about Crinkles by offering a variety of flavors and fillings, with Ube serving as the main flavor. The flavors include ube with ube halaya filling, chocolate with chocolate filling, and red velvet with buttercream filling. CK's Delights provides a high-quality snack at a reasonable price to fulfill its target customers' demands. CK's Delight explicitly wants to be known in terms of the quality and price of the food as well as the service offered to the target customers to develop a strong connection with them and keep the profit flowing. Most significantly, for this business to be successful, it must expand its target market and generate a competitive advantage. These crinkles are best described as being soft and chewy. Even though they may be made to taste like a variety of flavors, the chocolate kind is by far the most popular. In recent years, purple yam has emerged as a popular topic of conversation across the world, particularly on social media platforms and in other nations. Due to the adoration of its taste-like heaven, the business vision was put into a reality. The business was formed by individuals with interest in crinkles and eventually thought of some twist out of it. Packaging Kraft Dessert Box with Lid are used in Assorted crinkle package that consists of 4 assorted flavors regarding on customer’s choice. The box costs Php 8 per piece and the label costs 50 cents per piece. Perfect Home OL is the supplier of the box, it is located at Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. The packaging is ordered on Shopee because they cannot find alternatives here in General Santos City. The shipping fee costs 47 pesos. Market Research This portion of the marketing plan portrays the result of the surveys. According to 18 random people that were able to answer the survey questionnaire. I. TASTE 18 This chart is a Likert scale of (1-10). Majority of the customers rated the overall taste of CK’s Delight, 9 as the highest and 7 as the lowest. This chart showed that majority of the customers loved red velvet which rated 72.2% and to be equally followed by chocolate and all the flavors rated 11.1%, while the ube had the least rate which resulted as 5.6% This chart showed the customer’s preference regarding the flavors they don’t enjoy in CK’s Delight. 83.3% rated none because they are satisfied with all the flavors 19 of CK’s Delight. While some customers rated 11.1% for chocolate because they think its too sweet and lacks chocolate flavor. II. They also suggested that the colors of the product align to the sticker and packaging of the product and the rest suggested that there should be improvements in size, texture, and more flavors. 20 III. TEXTURE This chart describes the texture of CK’s Delight base on the preference of the customers. Majority rated 83.3% as a soft crinkle, 55.6% as chewy, 33.3% as crispy, and 50% as moist. IV. PRICE This chart showed the customers preference on the current price of CK’s Delight in terms of affordability. Customers equally rated 44.4% for affordable – neutral price, while 11.1% rated very affordable means they agree that CK’s Delight is affordable. 21 V. PACKAGING This chart showed the customers preference on the current packaging of CK’s Delight. Since CK's Delight presented a temporary packaging on mock presentation, still, customers equally rated 33.3% for very satisfactory – satisfactory. And about 22.2% rated excellent even though it’s a temporary packaging. Lastly, 5.6% for fair and improvements on the packaging itself. VI. ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK The feedback of the customers is of great importance in the management of CK’s Delight. By hearing their feedbacks, they can improve and meet the needs and demands of its customers. A. Product Description Crinkle’s Delight offers a snack where Ube is the main ingredient. Ube, vegetable oil, egg, ube extract, flour, baking powder, salt, and powdered sugar are the ingredients used to produce this product. Crinkle’s Delight aims to introduce this product to the locals by making them interested not only in its appearance but also in its unique taste, which is also an affordable snack for everyone. B. Technology Technology intervention occurs when mixing the ingredients, refrigerating, weighing, and baking. Supplies Quantity Purpose 1 The electric mixer will mix the ingredients of Ube Crinkles gradually like the sugar, vegetable oil, egg, ube jam, ube extract, and flour with a little baking powder and salt. 26 1 The refrigerator will be used in refrigerating the dough for 4 hours or freezing for about 2 hours 3 After scooping the dough, the weighing scale will be used to measure the weight of the dough before coating it with the powdered sugar so that the weight of the Ube Crinkles is equal, and it can also be used to weigh the weight of the finished Ube Crinkle product that is already in the packaging. 1 Finally, the oven will be used in baking the Ube Crinkles at 350F for about 10 – 12 minutes.
