RECOGNITION SCRIPT 2022-2023
I.INTRODUCTION
K: “Education is not received, it is achieved.” A nice quotation fit for this occasion specially to our
students who are here today to receive their fruit of labor.
A: This time of the day is one of the most awaited days on the part of the students as well as their
parents. These students who gave their very best to achieve something they dreamed of and most
specially to make their parents proud. And also, to the proud parents who gave their greatest effort
and support to their children, who struggle with them physically, emotionally, and of course
financially.
K: So, to start with, let me have the honor in greeting the people who grace this affair. To the eversupportive School President, Ma’am Cecil N. Lingad-Pineda, together with our Vice President, Mr.
Jeffrey Pineda, To our very profound Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mr. Clinton Miguel. To our
very inspiring and highly competent School Principal, Ma’am Joana Marie Mallari, to our very
prolific and generous guest of honor, Mr. Danwil Pineda Chang, to the students, to our proud
parents, visitors, and to our very dynamic and dedicated teachers…….
Both: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, GOOD MORNING AND WELCOME TO DIVINE GRACE COLLEGES OF
PAMPANGA, INC. RECOGNITION RITES 2023 WITH THE THEME OF “K to 12 Graduates: Molded
through a Resilient Educational Foundation”
II.PROCESSIONAL
A: May I request the awardees, parents, guest, faculty and staff to position now at their
corresponding lines because we are now about to start the Processional March. Ladies and
Gentlemen, let us give a big round of applause as we welcome the awardees of this SY 20222023…. (march music)
III-IV. DOXOLOGY, NATIONAL HYMN, MABT HYMN, DGC HYMN
K: To formally begin this program, may I request everyone to please stand as we pay tribute, honor,
and glory to our Almighty God through a Doxology to be led by DGC Dance Troupe and afterwards
please remain standing for the singing of our National Anthem, Mabalacat Hymn, and Divine Grace
Colleges Hymn.
A: You may now be seated.
V. OPENING REMARKS
K: Today is the milestone that marks the culmination of all hard work that our students have
poured out for almost a year. This is the day that we, the faculty and staff, your parents, relatives
and friends gather with you to celebrate your academic achievement and success.
A: And with that, ladies and gentlemen, to give her Opening Remarks, let us give a round of
applause to AKISHA RIVERA, With Honors of Grade 5-St Raphael.
A: Thank you, Akisha.
VI. WELCOME MESSAGE
K: At this point, let us all lend our ears as we listen to the words of welcome of Mr. CLINTON
MIGUEL, our Vice President for Academic Affairs. Let us give him a round of applause please…

A: Thank you Sir Clinton and Mam Cecil for the warm and heartfelt welcome address!
VII. Introduction of Guest of Honor
K: Another highlight of this occasion is the opportunity for us to listen and be inspired to the words
of wisdom from our Guest of Honor… so to formally introduce our GUEST SPEAKER, may we call on
stage Mrs. Haydee Tapnio, our Academic Coordinator.
(Mam Dhey will introduce the guest speaker)
VIII. INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE (Mr. Danwil Pineda Chang)
K: Thank you so much, Mr. Danwil for the empowering words you have shared.
IX. AWARDING OF PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION
A: May I please invite our Dear principal to come up on stage for the awarding of plaque of
appreciation to our guest of honor.
(Mam jo will come on stage)
X. AWARDING OF MEDALS AND CERTIFICATES
K: Many wants to be recognized, but a few are worthy of recognition. They are worthy of this
recognition because these students work hard for it. It is time for us to give credit for their
achievement and to acknowledge them for a job well done because a person who feels
appreciated will always do more than what is expected.
A: Without further ado, let us move on to the most awaited part of this event, the presentation of
awardees.
A: To award the medals and certificates of recognition to our honor students, may we have on
stage (President, VPAA, School Head, Guest of Honor)….
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARDEES

A: Congratulations dear students! You rightfully deserve every award you received today. Ladies
and gentlemen, let us give them a big round of applause!!
XI. AWARDING OF SPECIAL AWARDS
K: Today, we feel privileged and honored to stand here in front of you all and acknowledge the
achievements of our brilliant students who have made both the school and their parents proud.
A: These students work hard and gave their best shot in competing in an International Competition
to proudly represent the school. So without further ado, may we have on stage again Mam Joan to
give away the award of the following students.
K…. (announce the names of the TIMO and HKISO awardees)
A: Congratulations on your well-deserved recognition!!
XII. CLOSING REMARKS
A: At this point, let us pay attention, pin our ears to Mrs. Elsie B. Gomez, SDRRM Coordinator, for
her official closing remarks.
A: Thank you ma’am Elsie…
XIII. RECESSIONAL
K: Education doesn’t stop the day you received your award. It is only a beginning to do and prove
better. This day serves as a motivation for you. Our highest hope is that you will continue such
success and will succeed in the near future. Dream big, work hard, stay focused and surround
yourself with good people.
A: Before we all go, we would like to give you this short message, “An investment in knowledge
always pays the best interest.” Once again, to all the Academic Excellence Awardees,
congratulations and we are so proud of you.
