1st/2nd Line IT Support Technician We are seeking to appoint a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician to join our IT technical team. The successful candidate will help us to provide technical support to staff and students across 4 High Schools and 11 primary schools, all within Norfolk. We run a Microsoft Windows network and make extensive use of Microsoft 365 E-mail, Sharepoint and Teams Cloud Services. You would be involved in resolving ServiceDesk calls logged by staff across all Trust schools. You would use Microsoft SCCM and InTune for software deployment to Windows desktops and iPads and knowledge of firewall configuration and Internet filtering would be an advantage. 1-2 years IT support experience within a Microsoft Windows environment and a full, clean driving licence is essential. Experience in an educational environment would be an advantage. Good communication, problem solving and customer service skills are essential. The position is an opportunity to work as part of an experienced IT support Team within the Synergy Central Services Team providing high quality IT services to over 700 staff and 3000 students across the 15 schools in the Trust. We have a professional development policy in place for staff and provide training to further enhance each employee’s skill set. We also provide a company vehicle for travel between sites or reimburse mileage costs if you use your own vehicle. The post holder will be based at Sheringham High School but will be expected to work across all Trust schools Salary: £24,496 - £26,845. Suitable candidates may start part way through this scale.
