Business logic starts when a customer made a purchase using the shopee app. In order to make a purchase, one has to download the Shopee app in the app store. Upon installation, an email log in will be required, once done signing up then you are now free to buy any item you want in any store in the app. Shopee Guarantee starts when the buyer made his purchase. The buyer can directly place his order or he can also communicate with the seller first to inquire about the product through the chatting feature of the app. Once the buyer placed his order, Shopee then notifies the seller that a purchase of a particular good/s from his shop was ordered. Once the confirmation of mode of payment was made, the seller then prepares the item/s for shipment. There can be two possible scenarios after shipment is done: shipping within the “days to ship (DTS”) or failure to ship with the given “days to ship (DTS)” allotment. If it failed to ship with the DTS, the buyer may either cancel the order or auto-refund their payment then re-order a similar item. And if shipment was a success, the purchase will be held in their Shopee Guarantee Account until it is either received by the buyer, expiration of extension of Shopee Guarantee Period, approval of the application for return of goods, or if Shopee acknowledges that the distribution complies with all applicable law to enforce Shopee’s Terms of Service.
