Title: Effects of Makeup on Self-Esteem (Underneath the layers/ The Layers Within)
The purpose of my Capstone project is to find out how one’s self-esteem can be
affected by wearing makeup. I will be conducting a quantitative experiment with
female participants in which I will manipulate the variable of makeup (wearing
versus not wearing) and measure the results of changes to their self-esteem, if any.
The timeline for my Capstone project this semester will be as follows:
September-October: Proceed with Literature Review and further research
October: Finalize methods and experiment procedures
November: Conduct experiment (3 weeks) and collect data
December: Submit Progress Report Form to Honors College
