RATIONALE
Work Immersion integrates all the key concepts and
processes of (ABM) as applied in real-life activities
following the business cycle business opportunity
search, product/service development, business
formation and organization, business implementation
and control, business wind-up, and relevant
management reporting in the context of ethical
standard and social responsibility. Technologies are
used in a business enterprise as appropriate.

Objectives
This activity aims to provide SHS learners with
opportunities to:
• Familiarize with the workplace.
• Simulate employment.
• Connect through applications the learned
knowledge and competencies in areas of
specialization/applied subjects in authentic
business work practices.

including the products or services they will

DURING IMMERSION
• Before the group can start their business, they
must first secure a “Business Registration
Certificate” or “Certificate to Proceed” from
the Work Immersion Panel. The requirements
are the following:
• 1. Business Proposal
2. Market Research (Template Provided)
3. Medical Certificate (From School)

DURING IMMERSION
• After securing the certificate, the group can
now start running their business.
• Making sure that records pertaining to their
business are well keep for reporting purposes.
• Weekly requirements that needs to be
submitted to the Immersion Teacher:

POST IMMERSION
After completion of all required business related
documents as well as reflections, a BUSINESS
CONFERENCE will be conducted together with
the Work Immersion Panel. Here, all group must
showcase the outcome of their business
including their learnings and experiences.
