Joining Microsoft Teams Meetings
Using your computer
Click on the Join Microsoft Teams Meeting link that was provided. Your default web browser should open and present options
for joining, as shown below.

If necessary, please follow the prompts to download the Microsoft Teams application, either for mobile or desktop,
for the most seamless experience (please avoid joining the meeting through your web browser, as it will likely cause
technical difficulties).
Enter your name (this will be visible to all participants) and verify your video and microphone settings before entering the
meeting. Click Join now to enter the meeting waiting room. A Tesla participant will admit you.
Once admitted to the meeting, you’ll see a toolbar where you can change your settings, view meeting participants, and share
your screen.
Audio
Dial-in functionality is not available through Microsoft Teams. Participants can:

Use a headset device connected by Bluetooth or plugged into their computer
Use a phone to download the Microsoft Teams application and connect to the meeting; remember to mute the audio
on your computer

Using your mobile device
Click on the Join Microsoft Teams Meeting link that was provided. Your default web browser should open.

If you already have the Microsoft Teams application downloaded, the meeting will automatically open within the
application, or you’ll be directed to it through a pop-up.
If you don’t have the Microsoft Teams application downloaded, you will be prompted to do so. Once the download is
complete, return to the meeting link and click it.
Choose Join as a guest and enter your name to enter the meeting waiting room. A Tesla participant will admit you.
Once admitted to the meeting, you’ll see a toolbar where you can change your settings, view meeting participants, and share
your screen. Select the ellipses to see more options.
Audio
Dial-in functionality is not available through Microsoft Teams. When using a phone to connect, you must download the
Microsoft Teams application.
Joining Microsoft Teams Meetings
Sharing your screen via a Mac Laptop
Go to System Preferences and select Security & Privacy. Move to the Privacy tab and click on Screen Recording. Click on the
checkbox next to Microsoft Teams.

If you are in the meeting room, you will receive a notification asking you to restart, select Agree. You will need to hop
off your call and rejoin. After rejoining, you will be able to select the Share Tray and begin sharing your screen.
