Nathan Marlow May 25, 2021 NSG – 436 Prof. Marl To whom it may concern, I am writing this letter to extend my interest in an ICU nursing position at your hospital’s organization; I would like to introduce myself as a very motivated, dedicated, and strong passion for the nursing profession and all that entitles to the position of providing the highest level of patient care. Throughout my nursing school career, I gained more and more confidence and experience that I believe will add to and live up to the standards at your hospital’s institution. My professional objectives are primarily focused around providing the most positive impact on the lives and patients that I may encounter while delivering care. This type of approach is related to my nursing philosophy that care is more than just physical, rather it is also emotional, psychological, spiritual, and social. If I had to narrow it down to just one specific goal in my career is to improve the patient’s hospital experience through delivering the best evidence-based nursing practice. My specific interests in this field are in the intensive care unit where the environment is very fast-paced and nurses need to be able to not only critical think quickly and effectively but also act all while maintaining that evidence-based practice approach. I believe that I thrive in an environment such as that and it motivates me to be quick on feet at all times. I am ecstatic about this opportunity to join your institutions team and I am very confident that the skills I possess will fit right in with the goals of your organization. Nursing is a lifetime learning process and I am eager to not only continue nursing practice but to learn from other great nurses, physicians, and hospitalist that I may encounter on the hospital team.
