Psalms 133:1-3 NIV
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live
together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the
head, running down on the beard, running down on
Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if
the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For
there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life
forevermore.
As Your Word says, Lord, “How good and pleasant it
is” when people live together in unity—how refreshing
and how cleansing. And how much sadness and
suffering results when a nation and a people are
divided.
Please pour on us a spirit of unity and cooperation like
“precious oil,” like “the dew of Hermon,” washing
away bitterness and guiding us into mutual respect and
shared hope.
