Subsurface Cable (TEC)
The standard cable for typical applications is a 0.25” diameter 316L or 825Inc tube that encapsulates the
conductor. Between the conductor and tube ID, a filler material is used to both centralize and offer
mechanical integrity to the cable system. This cable is available in wall thicknesses of 0.028” and 0.035”
and can be supplied with a polymer encapsulation which adds additional mechanical integrity during
system conveyance. 316L SS cables are rated at up to 15,000 psi, 825Inc to 30,000 psi service pressure.
825 incoloy alloy tube cable is suitable for applications including hazardous service and high pressure (up
to 30,000 psi). It can be encapsulated with a polymer type material, which adds additional mechanical
integrity during system conveyance. 825 incoloy alloy cables are rated at up to 30,000 psi service
pressure.
