An Ode to …………….
Ode A
When I first saw him on that sunny Saturday
I knew I had to buy him, I could not delay.
With his fluffy grey fur and twitching nose,
I fell in love with him from my head right down to my toes.
As he nibbled on carrots and ate from my hand,
His presence as peaceful as a walk through the sand.
During his short life he was loved above all,
I remember him now from his picture on the wall.
