1. Why should we love the Virgin Mary?
We should love the Virgin Mary because she has an extraordinary role as a mother to both Jesus
Christ and the whole Catholic Church. She is an embodiment of love, compassion, and forgiveness. Her
unwavering devotion to her son even in the face of His crucifixion, is a testament to her selflessness and
devotion to others. Her willingness to stand by Jesus is a powerful example of dedication and loyalty.
Her faith and strength enabled her to endure the trials and tribulations of life, and she never lost sight of
her mission to bring the message of God to the world. Her faithfulness in the face of adversity is an
inspiration to us who seek to live a life of purpose and meaning. Moreover, her maternal image provides a
sense of security and comfort to those in need. Her role as a mediator and intercessor between God and
humanity gives us a sense of connection to the Divine. Her symbolism of humility, perseverance and
charity unify all the Christians and we, as her children, we should aspire to embrace these values in our
own lives and in the way we treat others. Whether through prayer, contemplation, or the study of her
teachings, the Virgin Mary is a powerful source of inspiration and guidance, and her message of hope and
compassion remains as relevant and powerful today as it did years ago.
2. Mary has been faithful to God in her entire life. Concretely, how would you express your
faith in God as a member of the Church?
As a member of the Church, I would express my faith in God by living through his
gospels, taking care of his creation, going to the church with all my heart, and acknowledging
the bible as well as accepting Jesus in my life. Praying every day, having overcome my
problems, receiving blessings, and revering his teachings would make me express my faith in
God. Moreover, I will become an agent of God's message to others by appreciating my worth
and being a good influence first. Second, through spreading God's wisdom and power; and
sharing my beliefs and experiences on how important he is for me. Furthermore, I would
convey my faith by inviting my friends to pray or reflect and by having bible study or
fellowship with a group. Also, by recognizing all of His life lessons and applying them with
moral values and ethically-guided behavior to everyone whom I encounter. Treating other
people with respect and dignity; and by having a strong dedication in serving Him and a heart
that cares for the poor, the lost, and the needy are ways to express my faith in God.
