According to Tenebroso, this study revealed the connection between coaching dedication and accountability practices in Region 12’s public and private higher institutions. Although there is a negative association between accountability and coaches’ dedication, accountability techniques have had a substantial impact on it. This implies that there is a commensurate loss in commitment for every unit increase in accountability practices. The results of the study shows that in recent years, teacher accountability was given more focus than of student accountability. Furthermore, results stated that the accountability system gave disadvantages in the work of teachers have been identified. However, accountability isn't just pressure and stress. Accountability has the potential to positively impact your career. The creation of accountability partnerships that many of us are surrounded by people at work, in our social circles, and in our professional networks who value the work we do. They might be able to empathize with your situation, lend you a sympathetic ear, and give you the support you require. However, if your relationship with students is only supportive and encouraging, you won't be able to help them as much. A study conducted by Reeve, C. et al. shown the effects of the health professional schools with a social accountability mandate. This study focuses on identifying the characteristics of medical education and was found to effect positively on medical students, health workforce, and health outcomes of disadvantaged communities. The researchers used a critical appraisal tool to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the published articles, and the health professional schools were aiming to enhance their health outcomes and collaborate with communities, fair selection guidelines, and community-engaged placements in marginalized regions are all seen as having a favorable effect on students' learning and attitudes. The findings of this study revealed that 8 schools should focus more in maximizing their socially accountable tasks and improve their influence on students, the local communities and local health workforce. Students struggle to meet deadlines As the semester comes to a close, students are feeling additional stress as deadlines approach. This is due to the difficulty of balancing in class assignments and online tasks assigned on Schoology, as well as other priorities and extracurricular activities. Cell phones also play a factor in students falling behind or struggling to meet deadlines. Junior Mikayla McGurran, Kalli Nelson, and Kalli Nelson are all feeling overwhelmed with school work and trying to balance other activities. Despite the NCAA's insistence that it is concerned about student athletes' academic growth, it often feels as though 'Student' plays second fiddle to 'Athlete'. Teachers believe that students are 9 falling behind due to lack of motivation or distractions, such as cell phones. History teacher Ms. Laura Epland is not feeling any added stress, but is concerned about students who are struggling to manage their time wisely. Students are encouraged to ask teachers for help. This exploratory study examined faculty and student perceptions of instructor and institutional late policies, specifically in a distance learning environment. There were areas of agreement, but there were areas where student and faculty perceptions did not align. There was a divergence in perceptions between faculty members and students in the need for strict adherence to a late policy that 10 provides point deductions per day. It is important for faculty members to designate their own late point policy, as long as it is not perceived to be severe. This study found that 49 student participants had never submitted an assignment late, which may be due to volunteer participants being more involved in their classes and having a greater connection to the content. It may be of interest to also ask faculty participants a similar question as to whether they had ever submitted an assignment late while they were students. The survey was available for all 187 full time faculty, but not all colleges represented equally. Further research is needed to understand the discrepancies between student and faculty perceptions of the late policy
