ability to seem like one.

aside and search for something more intriguing to
embrace. That would be the spider-maiden in this
story.

between what appears to be and what actually is)
in this story?

that it has wings, but upon closer inspection, it
appears to be a person with withered feathers
9. Do you find the story primarily humorous or
sad? Which do you think Garcia Marquez intends the
story to be? Why?
O The story is primarily sad because of how the
angel was treated because he was an old man rather
than a good looking man , García also intended
it to be sad because was the angel was tread was
nor fair and if you were an angle you could not
be happy if people treaded you that way even
though you look like an old women or men
10. Given the subject matter, why do you suppose
the story is subtitled “A Tale For Children”? How
is that an appropriate subtitle?
o The subtitle of this narrative is "A Story for
Children," which leads us to infer that it is
written for young adults. And the plot does have
a children's book vibe to it. It has fascinating
animals, is short and charming, and appears to
offer a moral message.
