The aim is to create a platform for sharing information among users at three geographically separated sites located in Ghana, Nigeria, and the USA respectively. The network infrastructure must provide a high level of security and protection for the data at each site. IPMC will also be responsible for maintaining and providing support for the infrastructure through its service engineers. The solution must include suitable hardware and software licensing, and the infrastructure must be maintained and supported by service engineers. SOLUTIONS To meet the requirements of KLM AIR LINE, the network infrastructure solution will consist of the following components: Network Hardware Suitable network hardware will be provided for each location, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. Providing training and documentation for KLM AIR line's IT staff to ensure that they can effectively manage and maintain the infrastructure. 21 Based on the requirements, and solutions to this project, it is recommended that KLM AIR LINE implements a Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution. This will provide a secure way for the users, the three geographical separated sites to share information while ensuring that the data for each site is protected additionally, a VPN solution will allow KLM AIR LINE to easily expand network to additional locations in the future. For Hardware, KLM AIR LINE will need to invest in VPN-capable routers, switches, and firewalls at each site. The hardware should be capable of supporting the VPN protocol and provide the necessary security features to ensure that network is protected from unauthorized access. In terms of software licensing, KLM AIR LINE will need to purchase licenses for the VPN software and any other software that is needed for network management and maintenance. To ensure the network infrastructure is properly installed and configured, KLM AIR LINE should be consider hiring a team of experienced network engineers.
