IPMC was asked to design the network infrastructure for KLM AIR
line. You are require to specify and supply suitable hardware and
software licensing for the company and carry out the installation and
configuration for KLM AIR line. The final solution now provides a
facility for information to be shared among users at three geographically
separated sites, GHANA, NIGERIA and USA respectively the data for
each geographically site must be secure and protected, their
infrastructure must be maintained and support by our service engineers
providers. You are require to come out with a good solution for KLM
AIR LINE.

INTRODUCTION
KLM AIR LINE has requested the services of IPMC to design and
implement a network infrastructure for their organization. The aim is to
create a platform for sharing information among users at three
geographically separated sites located in Ghana, Nigeria, and the USA
respectively. The network infrastructure must provide a high level of
security and protection for the data at each site. IPMC will also be
responsible for maintaining and providing support for the infrastructure
through its service engineers. This project aims to provide KLM AIR
LINE with a reliable and efficient network infrastructure that will
facilitate seamless communication among its users across the various
locations.

The objectives of the project are as follows:
To design and implement a network infrastructure that allows for
the secure sharing of information among users across three
geographically separated sites (in Ghana, Nigeria, and the USA).
To ensure that the infrastructure is reliable, efficient, and scalable
to meet the needs of KLM AIR line.
To ensure that the data for each site is secure and protected from
unauthorized access, theft, or loss.
To provide suitable hardware and software licensing for KLM AIR
line, including network devices, servers, operating systems, and
security software.
To install and configure the network infrastructure in a timely and
efficient manner, with minimal disruption to KLM AIR line's
operations.

Set up Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and associated services for

PROBLEMS
The problem for KLM AIR line is to design, install, and configure a
network infrastructure that will enable information sharing among users
at three geographically separated sites (in Ghana, Nigeria, and the USA)
while ensuring that the data for each site is secure and protected. The
solution must include suitable hardware and software licensing, and the
infrastructure must be maintained and supported by service engineers.

SOLUTIONS
To meet the requirements of KLM AIR LINE, the network infrastructure
solution will consist of the following components:

To meet the requirements of KLM AIR LINE, the network infrastructure

A WAN will be set up to connect the three geographically separated

A Diagram of LAN Systems are designed, installed and commissioned
with the latest technology such as POE, Fiber optic and CAT 6/7
accessories embedded with hybrid switches.

Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Open Licenses will be used to provide
the necessary services required by KLM AIR line.
However, Microsoft Windows Server 2019 is a powerful operating

SCOPE OF THE SYSTEM
The scope of the system includes the following:
 Designing and implementing a network infrastructure that allows

Based on the requirements, and solutions to this project, it is
recommended that KLM AIR LINE implements a Virtual Private
Network (VPN) solution. This will provide a secure way for the users,
the three geographical separated sites to share information while
ensuring that the data for each site is protected additionally, a VPN
solution will allow KLM AIR LINE to easily expand network to
additional locations in the future.
For Hardware, KLM AIR LINE will need to invest in VPN-capable
routers, switches, and firewalls at each site. The hardware should be
capable of supporting the VPN protocol and provide the necessary
security features to ensure that network is protected from unauthorized
access.
In terms of software licensing, KLM AIR LINE will need to purchase
licenses for the VPN software and any other software that is needed for
network management and maintenance.
To ensure the network infrastructure is properly installed and
configured, KLM AIR LINE should be consider hiring a team of
experienced network engineers. This team can help with the initial
installation and configuration of the hardware and software and can
provide ongoing maintenance and support to ensure that the network is
always up and running.
In conclusion, the implementation of a VPN solution along with the
necessary hardware and software licensing, and support from
experienced network engineers, will provide KLM AIR LINE with a
secure and reliable network infrastructure that meets their requirements
for the information sharing across their geographical separated sites.
