SBlock Network License Setup Guide

How to setup SBlock with a network license on your local PC/Laptop
1) Make sure the license server (CMServer) is running on your company network-server before you
start and you have access your company network.
2) Unzip the setup folder and click on SetupSblockVxxx.exe. Installation takes a second or two.
3) After installation is complete start SBlock from the new shortcut on your desktop. If you don’t
see a shortcut on the desktop you can navigate to SBlock in your Program Files (x86) folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SblockVxxx.exe
The following screen will appear (first time only)
Select “Configure as a network client” It will try to find the license server on you company
network. If it does not find it ask IT to give the IP address and port to you. Something like this:
192.168.1.145:10589 with 10598 being the port. Note the colon before the port number. If you
don’t know the port try :10589 – this seems to be the default port. (Usually it is best to use the
Server description instead of the IP-address in case the IP-address is dynamically provided and
changes)
4) It will check on the network server if this license is valid and if it is available. Each license can
only be used by a certain number of persons at a time, depending on how many “seats” your
company purchased.
5) Done – Sblock will start.
