PROLOGUE
The Majestic Lake Danao is a guitarshaped lake on the island of Leyte
(Ormoc City) in the Philippines. The
lake is covering an area of 148
hectares. It is situated in the
2,193 hectares Lake Danao Natural
Park,
which
also
includes
the
Amendiwin mountain range.
SCHOOL BACKGROUND
Lake
Danao
Integrated
School
was
established last 2020 as contingency
plan for the transfer of the old Lake
Danao Elementary School, which was
greatly devastated during the 2017 6.0
magnitude Earthquake that hit the Lake
Danao area. The old elementary school
is no longer safe as it is prone to
landslide. The fast population growth
of the area, deemed the need for a high
school
so
that
students
finishing
elementary grade need not go to the
