Part 1 - Picture description
Instructions:
Look at the picture analyze and reflect on it.
Write a reflective passage about the picture. (Word count: 200-250 words). During
the speaking exam, you will be given 2 minutes to explain your ideas looking at
your writing.

law or legal proceedings.

Contract law: Terminating a contract
Answer.
First of all, if you look carefully at the photo, you may find that this photo has a
legal connection. For example, when we look at a photo, we see people making a
contract or a woman presenting documents for verification in a law office.
From the description of the location or scene of this picture, we can find that it is a
lawyer's office or some notary office. One of the main reasons for this is that the
lawyer or notary is listening to his clients. From this, we can know that this place is
most likely a law office. Because people are not dressed in state uniforms, but
rather in classical style, and this building does not even look like a state office or a
courthouse. I think people are solving their problem case in a private law office or
firm.
In the picture we can see any actions or interactions related to the law or legal
process, such as a judge passing a sentence, a board of directors debating, a lawyer
arguing, and business partners. I think they are talking to a lawyer about a dispute
between business partners and are getting legal help. Because the person next to
the woman looks like her business partner.
As for the legal significance of this picture, we can say that it is a very important
picture. This picture expresses concepts of contractual legal importance. That's
why if we pay attention to the papers in the woman's hand, it looks like a copy of
some kind of contract.
In my opinion, the photographer may have told us to be careful when concluding a
contract with the picture. Because they faced some kind of problem, if we look at
the look and mood of the woman and the man next to her, they are very serious and
we can conclude that they are facing a problem.
