Abstract
Supermarket billing is a software that can perform task and provide different services to the customers.
we are making our project for rural area’s people so we will implement functionalities from their point of
view. The first and the most basic objective is to make a software. People who live in rural areas do not
easily understand commodity driven offers. and they can also be adultered on some items.so we are
making this software. To let them know those offers. In this software the basic functionality of billing
software, it can operate in multiple stores in efficiently In supermarket billing software there are 2 sides
customer side and owner side so, in that customer side customer will see which offers are available on
which product, and which products are available day by day. And in owner side the rate, discount, and
billing of each product will be determined by the owner. and delivery will also available for that location
at that specific time.

Chapter-1 Introduction and Background of Industry or User based
Problem
1.1 Introduction
Supermarket billing software program that help you to easily understand which product are in heavy
demand and which ones are ignored by your customer.it can help you eliminate unnecessary product from
your outlet and start space for other. And products are daily items of household use like rice, wheat,
vegetables etc
1.2 Background
The project aims to develop various network utilities which are required to effectively monitor a user
activities using LAN network. It aims to develop an integrated software solution that allows a network
administrator to remotely monitor his users and their daily activities through LAN. This function allows
obtaining detailed information about the activities your employees are engaged into during their working
hours, and also create statistical reports with important data. For a more detailed observation of the
activities occurring on user computers, Software takes snapshots at pre-set intervals inconspicuously for
the user and saves them into a database chronologically. A quick gallery view of these snapshots gives
full information about all users activities
1.3 Problem Statement
Supermarket billing software can solve many problems to make retail efficiently. Retailers and quick
services restaurant (QSR) owners need to take lots of features into consideration in order to make sure
that the business runs smoothly. It is not only the everyday sales, but also the customer retention, sales
and stock tracking, accounts and receivables, which needs proper management and being in charge of all
of these things is definitely not easy, more so, where you are required to take care of all these things single
handedly. An automated and intuitive billing solution makes things easier in such situation.

Chapter- 2 Literature Survey for Problem Identification and Specification
In todays advanced hi-tech world, the need for independent living is recognized in the case of visually
impaired people who are facing the main problem. We visited Akshada supermarket in Niphad we
observed and studied the management of supermarket we talk with owner and daily customer and the
customer were present in supermarket. After having conversation with customers and owner we
understand the problem that they were facing. We list out the product was available and how they are
displayed in supermarket
Chapter- 3 Proposed Methodology of solving the identified problem with
3.1 Action plan :

Chapter- 4 Software And Hardware Requirement Specification
(Flowchart / System Architecture)
4.1 Flow Chart:
A flowchart is a type of diagram that represents a workflow or process. A flowchart can also be defined
as a diagrammatic representation of an algorithm, a step-by-step approach to solving a task.
Fig 4.1: Flow Chart of Application
4.2 System Architecture:
In the design phase the architecture is established. This phase starts with the requirement document
delivered by the requirement phase and maps the requirements into architecture. The architecture defines
the components, their interfaces and behaviors. The deliverable design document is the architecture. The
design document describes a plan to implement of the dataflow diagram (Level 0) shown in fig 4.2.1.1
Level 0 includes overall functioning of system. A data flow diagram at its simplest is a representation of
a flow of the current system. A data flow diagram shows the steps of all the execution of the data and the
6
processes. Figure 4.2.1.2 shows Data flow diagram (Level 1). Level 1 includes the brief description of
the modules. And A data flow diagram shows the steps of all the execution of the data and the processes.
Figure 4.2.1.3 shows Data flow diagram (Level 2).
