About SAMARTH Project
 SAMARTH is MHRD-funded University Management Software project, to be
implemented in all Central Universities.
 MZU is among a few universities included in Phase I of implementation.
 MHRD bear the software cost and there is no financial implication for the
universities.
 It is a cloud-based service and all applications(software) /data are stored in MHRD cloud
(server).
 Till date, 37 modules were activated.
 It is planned to utilize the modules in phased manner.
 Online Admission module was used from 2020 Academic session and currently
Asset/Inventory Management, Estate Management, Employee Management and Leave
Management are in progress.
Things to do by all employees:
1. Login to the portal:
a) URL : https://ict.mzu.edu.in OR https://mzu.samarth.ac.in
b) Login details:
Username
: MZU Employee ID ( eg. mzunt999)
Default Password
: 123456
Change password after login.
2.
Verify and update employee profile, Academic, Career Profile.
“University Assignment” cannot be modified by the users and any wrong entry shall
be reported to Establishment Section.
3. For all teachers:
Upload Research Publication, Research Papers, Patents in Knowledge module.
