An angle is formed when two straight lines meet at a point.
An angle can be described as the amount of turn or the measure of the
distance that one line moves away from another.
We measure angles in degrees.
Types of Angles
Acute Angle – any angle that is less than 90 degrees
Less than 90 degrees
Right Angle – exactly 90 degrees
Exactly 90 degrees
Straight Angle – exactly 180 degrees
Exactly 180 degrees
Obtuse Angle – greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees
more than 90 but less than 180 degrees
