PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO): In three to
five years, our BTVTED graduates are expected to:
PROGRAM: BTVTEd- FSM/DGFT
PEO 1 – Demonstrate mastery of pedagogical competencies
required in delivering the content areas based on the Philippine
TVET Trainers Qualification Framework. (PTTQF)
YEAR LEVEL: 2nd year
SEMESTER: 2nd Semester S/y 2019-2020
PEO 2- Engage in professional advancement and other
vocational-technical competencies through industry immersion and
entrepreneurial endeavor.
PEO 3- Practice professional and ethical requirements of the
teaching profession by being ecologically sensitive and socially
responsive through community linkages and professional
engagement.
PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES (PLO): After graduation, our
BTVTEd graduates should be able to:
1. Demonstrate the competencies required of the Philippines TVET
Trainers Assessors Qualifications Framework (PTTQF).
2. Demonstrate broad, meaningful and coherent knowledge and
skills in any of the specific fields in technical and vocational
education.
3. Apply with minimal supervision specialized knowledge and skills
in any of the specific fields in technical teacher education.
4. Demonstrate higher level literacy, communication, numeracy,
critical thinking, learning skills needed for higher learning
5. Manifest a deep and principled understanding of the learning
processes and the role of the teacher in facilitating these
processes in their students.
6. Show a deep and principled understanding of how educational
processes relate to larger historical, social, cultural and political
processes.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course introduces students to basic
concepts, theories, and principles on the different
specializations they may take in their course.
Specifically, this will give n overview on desktop
publishing, photo editing, and hardware servicing.

COURSE EVALUATION
Student must get a minimum final
rating of 75% or equivalent of 3.0 to
pass the subject.
Student must take all short/long
quizzes, seat works, assignments and
examinations.
Make up for missed exams/quizzes
voluntarily. However, only those who
have reasonable causes will be granted
special exams or quizzes. This will
depend on whether the students will
be able to submit properly filled up
admission slip form from the Dean/SDS
and a medical certificate or authorized
letter from parents or guardian.
Student must submit individual/group
project and must be completed before
each exam on the date specified by the
instructor.
Attend class punctually and regularly
a. A student who committed
20% absences will be
automatically dropped from
the course.
b. If the student is late for 15
minutes, the student will be
allowed to attend classes but
will be marked absent. If he
arrives during any portion of
the first 15 minutes he will be
marked late. Three tardy is
equivalent to one absent.
Observe honesty and independence

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
Students of this course are expected
to:
1. Participate actively, during
recitation, board works,
individual or group activities,
discussion, etc.
2. Attend class punctuality and
regularly

independence during recitation,
examinations and quizzes.
4. Act and speak decently and
appropriately pin their ID’s and
wear proper uniforms during
uniform days as prescribed by
the SDS/College and proper
attire during wash days
(Wednesday).
5. Communicate to the instructor
concerned, any difficulties
encountered in the subject for
necessary assistance.
6. One-mouth rule will be
implemented, that is, no two
persons must talk at the same
during class period.
7. Maintain the cleanliness and
orderliness of the room.
