Aquino, Mark Joseph B. 1910185 Introduction The design project is a school building. It has a floor area of 596.96 sqm. The building is made up of 5 floors and length of the beam used is 6 meters and 4 meters and length of the Columns that were used is 3.2m. The structure has different facilities composed of classrooms, offices, studios, cafeterias, and laboratories to accommodate the needs of the students, teachers, and non-teaching staff. This project will focus on designing beams, columns, slabs, and footings made of concrete and steel bars. The values and parameters that were used in this project were based on NSCP 2015 (National Structural Code of the Philippines) and NBCP (National Building Code of the Philippines). And the programs that were used to make this project possible were AUTOCAD 2021, SKETCHUP 2012, and Microsoft Excel. The flow of this paper will first be presenting the proposed architectural plans and structural plans. The second segment of the paper will be focusing on how the design of each component of the structure is conceived.
