Other than copresidents, no other co-positions will be allowed, but Director, Junior Officer, and other positions are okay. Instead of co-Treasurers, you can have for example, a Treasurer and Fundraising Director. The Cybersecurity club has been an important member on the Foothill Campus for the last two years, providing over 30 members with instruction each week on how to protect themselves online while also helping to nurture the next generation. In addition we also have done lessons for all APCS students giving everyone the opportunity to learn more. With over 100 people in our Google Classroom receiving our updates, we strive to give the education that we all had when we were beginning to learn about cybersecurity. The officer team currently consists of Ashwin Sriram (co-president), Yash Shelar (copresident), Rahul Datta (vice president), Tejas Prakash (secretary), and Sukirth Chanda (treasurer). We are not seeking to add any new positions as specified by the Core 4 positions, rather we are seeking to have all of the current four positions with co-presidents, which has been previously allowed in the two years that we have been a club on campus. We believe that having co-presidents is crucial to our club's success as it allows one of our presidents to focus on creating lesson plans to enrich our students while the other president can focus on creating practice activities. These lesson plans and practice activities are industry level and take time for our presidents to develop. Our vice president focuses primarily on membership recruitment and retention. Our secretary creates our meeting agendas as well as sending out emails to our members. And lastly we are a sponsored club with the likes of organizations such as Google and Crowdstrike, which means that our treasurer handles getting new sponsorships as well as managing funds. In addition, our officer team competes at the national level in cybersecurity and has been recognized as the number one cybersecurity team in the Bay Area and in addition has won multiple awards on the national scale. All five members on our team are current officers and we wish to keep this role for all members rather than removing one member. We hope to keep improving and making the Cybersecurity Club that stands on Foothill campus for more than two years, creating a long-lasting legacy. Granting us this exception is the first step towards that progress. This form was created inside of Pleasanton Unied School District. Forms
