Going to school and trying to afford it can be a financially
draining experience. The government and financial institutions
give students an opportunity to react and complete their higher
education studies through the means of financial assistance
where there a reimbursement for tuition fees, books and other
expenses related to school. Sometimes these aids are paid back
in cash, instalments or form of work.
Study loans, some are from the bank and is paid back after you
finish your studies and there will be an interest add to the amount
borrowed it similar to a personal loan. Department of higher
education and training have a bursary scheme called NSFAS
for those who do not have the financial means to fund their
studies and can not access a bank for funding. This bursary
covers tuition fees, transportation, accommodation, book
allowance, but this is paid back after your studies. There are long
term consequences if you do not manage to make repayment on
time, this will put a bad image on you credit score because you
were blacklisted.

most likely given to the student who’s family income is 350 000700 000 are eligible to a bursary. Covers full study related or
some only cover partial costs. The consequences about a
bursary and a scholarship is that if you fail you have to pay it
back and this may cause unnecessary pressure and anxiety on
the student.
Learnerships, is job that pays you while you are studying, you
study and practices what you are learning at your job. You do
