DIGITAL POP ART CONTEST GUIDELINES
1. Every section must have two (2) students/representatives to compete in the
Digital Pop Art Contest to produce a one (1) digital pop art of any school
appropriate image related to Philippine Pop Culture.
2. Take note of the colors used in the pop art as it is characterized by vibrant, bright
colors, and/or color-blocking technique.
3. The pop-art will be judged according to the following rubric:
Relevance = 40%
(The digital pop art includes information on Philippine Popular Culture as well as
pop art characteristics. As a result, the students are able to demonstrate depth of
understanding and insight into Philippine Pop Culture and pop art.
Creativity and Originality = 30%
(The pop art reveals excellent creative, original idea. Hence, the design is unique,
and displays elements that are totally their own.)
Craftmanship and Effort = 30%
(The pop art is thoughtfully planned, effectively designed, and uses space
efficiently. In a similar manner, the student faithfully adhered to the mechanics
and guidelines.)
