Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson Students will read a poem entitled “Stopping by the Woods on Snowy Evening” by Robert Frost Base on the poem you’ve read what are things you need to consider for you to understand its meaning. Who wrote the poem? Do you think the meaning of the poem is related to the author’s experience? Ask one student to recapitulate the discussion last meeting in front of the class. Ask students to think of a literary piece which contributed a lot in the development of literature and explain why it is important for them to study this kind of literature. Example: Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare (The Forcefulness of Love. Romeo and Juliet is the most famous love story in the English literary tradition. Love is naturally the play's dominant and most important theme. The play focuses on romantic love, specifically the intense passion that springs up at first sight between Romeo and Juliet. It is significant for the student to study this literature because it is the most known piece in the Middle English Period that contributed a lot in inspiring new authors during that period.) D. It is important to know the elements/ sovereignties of literature for the readers to interpret the text clearly. The author’s and reader’s backgrounds could help the reader to get the right meaning of the text.
