To enable students to comprehend English in their own way. To help/assist students in developing writing skills of English. Specific objectives: To organize the students experience and feelings related to the particular person. To enrich the students vocabulary of English. To develop the writing skills and way of expressing their feelings and sentiments related to their family. WARM UP ACTIVITY: Song on grandparents using smart class. DISCUSSION : Beginning of class can be started by writing two three different questions on the board that introduce the theme of the topic of the composition writing. Like the topic is MY GRANDFATHER. Who is the oldest person in your family? ANS : Grandparents is the most obvious answer. What is the best time that you have spent with your grandparents? What is the importance of grandfather etc. ANNOUNCEMENT: After collecting various thoughts of different students, teacher can announce the topic that is going to be done in the class. INTRODUCTION: Here teacher will students about composition writing and will tell them the basics to write it. Composition writing topic of today’s class will be My grandfather. Also tell students that Grandparents Day is celebrated on the First Sunday of September month every year. Teacher will write the sample composition on the board. HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT: Students will write a composition paragraph about MY FRIENDRoll no 1-10 MY MOTHERRoll No 11-20 MY TEACHERRoll no 21-30 MY FAVOURITE PERSON- Roll no 31-40 in their rough notebook. They will discuss present the same in the next class.
