INTRODUCTION
One deal at One Time - Wholesales is the way where the sale of large quantities like
goods, merchandise, and more. Dealing with large quantities of products increases the profit.
Way back in the year (1914-1918) the intensity of World War 1 caused the sharp rise in price
and the rise riots occurred in 1918. With this background, the Wholesales Market Law was
enacted in 1923 to improve the prices of fresh foods through adjusting supply and demand.
Wholesalers help retailers by assisting them and pricing, by then retailers can more effectively
carry out physical distribution with a small number of products to the customers.Nowadays
most resellers contact the store that produces large or the big size of products so that they can
save money and gain as well.
Aquilas is one of the wholesale stores that provided and produces a large number of their
products which is crab paste. Selling their products online is one of the best ways out they can
do to sell their products.
Production is the main part of this business, sometimes the number of their expenses on the
raw materials couldn't be put in the list and forgot to compute the total amount of expenses. To
keep cash flow and to prevent running out of stocks, by monitoring every movement of the
profit that the store gain, needed to be dynamically by using an Inventory system.
The Proponents of this Proposal believe that this management system practices the skills and
knowledge gathered throughout the degree while being relevant to the trends and clients
needed. With the increase of online sellers, it's no surprise that more and more of them are
finding a better applications to sell their products. Furthermore, the security of this system is
controlled by the client than using the third-party application. Dynamic inventorying, monitoring,
selling, and checking is a good platform to be made to the client to make them worry-free.
CHAPTER 1
PROJECT AND ITS BACKGROUND
PROJECT CONTEXT
Technology is an essential part of our lives today. We cannot imagine what life is
without the use of technology. A management system is a way an organization manages
the interrelated parts of its business in the order of its objectives. These objectives can
relate to several different topics, including product or service quality, operational
efficiency, environmental performance, health and safety in the workplace, and many
more.
This management system will provide Aquilas Homemade Food Trading with the ability
to computerize, systematize, and correlate retail information. Where cash registers,
including complex register systems, have limited information collection capacity. It can
gather, store and return detailed reports on inventory trends and customer information.
Additionally, the system more easily integrates with numerous sales and orderings
systems wherein customers can browse through all the products available. Customers
can purchase online without having to visit the shop physically. And it defines the role
of the administrator to alter the product list. Online shopping will need the internet to
access and as a sole method for selling goods to the customers. And gives access to the
employees to apply their hours of work with the help of the system that will implement.
PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The implementation of this management system is the core part of the research.
The purpose of this research is to give a solution to the problem of the client which they
haven't yet a Store Management system for their business which is crab paste that's why
proponents will create a system that can advertise their business. Implement a system
that can store, track, sell, monitor, and input the records into the database to
prevent loss of records and make the records more organized. For selling the products,
the customer will access the internet for Aquilas's website and search in the browser.
They will find the Homepage of the system, they will see the product's category and the
registration for the new customer, and a login for the users. With the implemented
search bar, Users can search for what they are looking for or what's on the record. They
will add it to their cart and can pay it Cash on Delivery or payment online through Gcash
and Paymaya. In the Menu tab, there's a page that can be used to receive additional help
and information.
Currently manual storing of documents which are paperwork is more time-consuming
than the ideal management system. For employees' view, they will log in as the employee
and they can track their daily work. they can change some of the personal information.
The system includes an account to which you need to log in, to access the website.
With this module, the system can determine if the user is an Administrator or an
Employee. It will give Security to the system so that the system should know who will be
given the grant to access the system.
The Modules that do not belong to anyone but the Administrator, are the Inventory
system and employee's payroll system.
The system contains mobile compatibility which is accessible to any device with the use
of a web browser. To transact and access the system, mobile devices should be
connected to the Internet. The disadvantage of mobile compatibility requires mobile data
or a good Internet connection.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
In this study, the researchers' objective is to create a system that can benefit the
preferred beneficiary of the proponents of Aquilas Homemade Food Trading. The goal is
to record, monitor the sales, and implement the store management system for Aquilas.
The researchers will implement the modules where they will begin to build or start the
system. Researchers will start from the most important of the system and will work their
way through every single module of the system to be fully functional without errors.
The following are the Specific objectives:
⦁
To implement an ordering system for Aquilas Homemade Food Trading which is
one of the modules in the management system. Where customers can purchase products
and pay online, or they can choose Cash on delivery or COD without visiting the store
physically.
⦁
To design the web-based system for the users or customers a friendly use and
make it easier to provide access to real-time information.
⦁
To ensure that people of interest may take advantage of a web-based system and
access the system conveniently by having a domain that’s easy to remember and making
the user interface of the system is compact and easy to use at the same time accessible
anytime and anywhere with the access of internet connection.
⦁
To change the storing of records by using the previous manual paperwork into
online reports and digital dashboards which is the inventory system one of the modules.
That can improve the quality and speed of decision-making, right across to the client.
⦁
To provide employees with access to a system in which they can view their
workloads and pay slips.
⦁
To achieve the implementation of the management system without any error.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
One that can benefit from this management system is the client Aquilas
Homemade Food Trading. The use of researchable web-based is a whole range of
advantages. No need to install it on your computer or on mobile devices but this can be
accessed from any computer or phone through the internet. Instead of having an
individual installation, you can access it only in any browser. The target of this
management system is the clients, Administrators, employees, and customers.
Clients will also benefit in terms of assurance that their documents wherein their
information on the making of the products will remain confidential. As well as that they will
be updated whenever clients want to know the status of their products.
Administrators will benefit from this project to access the management system where they
are the head of the entire system. Admin will provide the status report to the users, to
check the payroll system for the workload of the employees, and of course to the client.
Employees will benefit from this system; they are one of the most important in the said
module, which is the payroll system. They will log in to the system so that the payroll
system will work on their workload.
The customers will be given the benefit from this also because they can purchase through
this web-based system without visiting the store. And they can pay directly to the store by
online payment or Cash on delivery.
The Proponents will benefit from this study for they will further improve their skills in
programming. Widening the perspective of each student by learning the traditional and
new methods in researching, analytically and in a systematic way of producing a
successful system as well as having new knowledge in terms of different aspects of
creating a web-based system.
Future researchers will benefit because they will have a reference for this kind of study
as their guide and reference to create a better and more developed system that can help
mankind and make life easier in the digital era everyone is currently living in.
SCOPE AND LIMITATION
Aquilas Homemade Food Trading started in the year 2015, on the very first try
they've made a 20-bottle jar of crab paste and started to sell it to their neighbors. At that
moment people love their crab paste, then they try more and more amounts of crab paste.
As their business smoothly grew, they started to make many raw ingredients and started
to sell them online using the Facebook platform. By posting it through platforms
they gain customers and resellers. As they didn't notice their business started to
disorganize the records and the gross income and profit. The dilemma of absences
from their employees is not recorded and so the exact amount of their salary is not
organized and the confusion between the owner and the employees. Researchers' idea
will be to implement the Management System for Aquilas.
SCOPE
⦁
Serve as an online selling platform utilizing that you can purchase with the system.
This will provide the ordering system to the customers online, so that the customer may
not use other platforms to contact the owner for purchasing or reselling the product
because it is directly to the owner and from the warehouse.
⦁
Employees can log in to their daily tracking system for the records of their
attendance as well as it will imply to the payroll system which they cannot experience
again the confusion because the system will work for their records.
⦁
For the monitoring of the production of the crab paste, the admin or authorized
personnel will input the records and the information into the inventory system. It will serve
as the tracker of the products throughout the entire supply chain from the purchasing of
the production to end sales.
LIMITATION
⦁
The crab season, which is the crab meat and crab fat "Alegi" that they use in
making the crab paste, is not available in some markets here in metro manila.
⦁
The delay of transportation of crab fat from the provinces, sometimes because of
the harsh weather. This is one reason that they were unable to produce crab paste.
⦁
The users should use only one email account and password.
The users should have enough internet connection
•
Internet Access, every user should have enough mobile data or Wi-Fi to access
the internet.
CHAPTER II
REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
This chapter highlights previous studies and publications relevant to the thesis. It
enlightens the proponents to pursue research in a specific field of study.
FOREIGN LITERATURE
A Store Management System has executed the store's operation, utilizing the flow
of Production and inventory management solutions. To keep track of your raw materials
and the produced product. The store management system is an E-commerce, it refers to
the sale and purchase of goods and/or services via electronic channels such
as the internet. According to Joe Weller (Sep 06, 2017), The future of Retail is bright for
businesses who are willing to embrace change and who are adapting to modern
technology will continue to see a store rise, which makes further growth a reality.
Added that a retail management system (RMS) is a combination of technology a retailer
uses to empower the customer experience and operates daily retail management
processes including software, hardware, telecommunication, database, applications, and
the point-of-sale (POS) platform.
One of the Modules of this Management system is the Inventory System.
According to Dr. Tariq Sheakh from the Journal of dynamical and control systems, named
A study of inventory Management System Case Study (May 2018) inventory management
is a challenging problem area in supply chain management. Companies need or some
businesses need to have inventories in warehouses to fulfill customer
demand. Meanwhile, the inventory costs and this is a frozen fund that can be lost. It is
proven that companies that have an inventory system might not encounter many conflicts.
This is where you avoid the inconvenience of the stocks and fulfil the demand. Likewise,
according to Meckrine Sabure in the Article, The Influence of Inventory Control
Management on Financial Organization Performance (January 2020) due to failure on
balancing excess inventory and stocking caused by poor issuing of materials should have
a controlled inventory that can influence the performance of the productions. Large
Companies in the sales and warehouse environment are currently performing their
inventories in a physical way and technology service to manage the
running of stock management according to Gunther Misahuaman, Alfredo Daza, Emily
Zavaleta, Cesar Vallejo University Lima, Professional Academic School of Engineering

LOCAL LITERATURE
According to Andrew J. Marasigan, The Philippines has a consumer-driven
economy where 72% of economic output is attributed to private consumption Stated
entitled The State of E-commerce in the Philippines; "Numbers Don't Lie" (2020). Filipino
Entrepreneurs have benefitted from brick-and-mortar stores, but it all change
when the covid-19 virus began. Bustling restaurants, crowded malls, and busy
stores were empty. For local businesses, an obvious strategy for survival is to pivot to ecommerce into the online sphere.
More than 73 million Filipinos are registered users and 99% of them are active on one
social media platform or another. Being highly connected to the worldwide web, Filipinos
have been skeptical about spending money on the internet. During five-month-long
quarantine Filipinos had no choice but to purchase food and other essentials on the
internet.
The best retail system has customer management features and reporting that
provides you with insights that you can incorporate into your sales, marketing, and
customer service efforts by Francisca Nicasio (July 2021). Sending welcome messages
to new customers is common in online retail but personalized videos and messages
thanking the customer for making their first purchase. To prevent technical issues with
the products the important thing is to make sure to closely track customer orders and
ensure that their products get to their hands safely and on time. If selling online, produce
a system that enables you to keep an eye out on the status of customer orders and
shipments. After the transaction of customers with the paid or unpaid orders is the
shipments, therefore, they must choose whether it is for them to pick up from the store or
for delivery. The shipping rates here in the Philippines started to increase freight rates as
it said by the Philippine Liner Shipping Association (PLSA) according to Arjay L. Balinbin
2022.
According to Mr. Paco, 25% of the average increase in freight fees. Under the
Republic Act. No.9295, Domestic ship operators are authorized to set their own Domestic
shipping rates, provided that "effective competition is fostered and public
interest is served. By hiking freight rates, the small or large stores that export their
produced product might also affect their expenses.
According to the published study of EverSunHR entitled Top 7 Common Problems
of Human Resources Department October 2021, Recruitment of the employees that has
the ability and capacity of the skills that may offer to them. Staff Training, for the fresh
staff recruited, must have a learning curve first before entering the job. They need to learn
or update methods of completing tasks. Productivity must be the key area of focus in any
company. The data received can be used to improve both working conditions and overall
employee/department productivity. That will allow a more accurate and worthwhile
investment of capital within the company. Discipline is a touchy subject for most.
For a smooth and efficient process of work, employees should lead by giving them
legal and ethical disciplinary actions. Retention is good for people as it hires. Treating
employees as good and balancing personalities to keep them motivated and working as
a whole team. Payroll will be implemented in every HR to avoid common problems and
alteration of data of salary for every employee.
This makes the whole Teamwork, and it leads to motivation and a satisfied

employees' salaries and their benefits. For Managing the Payroll system, they ought to
compute the salaries before distributing their salaries. Employees and employers must
pay mandatory benefit contributions. Digitized employee records, timekeeping
data, and payroll processing up to the online distribution of payslips. Providing an end-toend payroll system to maintain a happy workforce and avoid violations of the law.
FOREIGN STUDIES
"One order management system, one database, one inventory. Without these, you will
seem seamless to your customer." -Andy Laudato at The Vitamin shoppe (2020).
Global retail sales in 2020 are equal to over $23 trillion (about $71,000 per person in the
US). As seen, the competition in retail is one of the toughest. In Retail Order
Management Features you should be able to follow these features in a system, Client
Data management, Integration with Telephony, Delivery Management Integration,
Integration with Warehouse Management system, customer Request, and compliance
processing, Loyalty program, Update Offers Generation, Staff Task Management
according to the study of Andrew Harper (2021).
On Global Order Management Software Market Analysis 2020: Digital Orders
Driving OMS (Order Management System) software Growth, Dublin (2020) reported that
The Order Management Software Market retailers were racing to deploy order
management system software (OMS) to have a single version of the truth for their
inventory and customer information. Retailers are racing to compete with Amazon and
Walmart. To fulfil orders anywhere they must turn their stores into competitors, and to do
so they are investing heavily in Enterprise order Management. Order management is the
core for the retail going forward, that allows shipping to perform the warehouse, pick up
at the store, simply traditional store fulfillment is key to not only surviving but thriving in
the future.
Online Food Order System primarily functions for use in the food delivery industry.
Customers can select food or orders in just a few minutes because of the system that can
allow industries to quickly and efficiently deliver your order based on
the study by T. Deepa (Hindusthan College of Arts & Science) and P. Selvamani
(August 2018). The stores that were accepting orders are more likely to have used online
food ordering systems. It gives customers actual control over the pace of their transaction
and allows them to limit the amount of interaction. The study included the following
subjects for ordering systems that can help and extend the knowledge by researching
these studies there are Website/mobile app, Customer and Order management (CRM),
Business insights, Stock/Inventory Management, Food Delivery Management, Customer
feedback/Support, Online Promotion, Daily/Monthly Revenue Reports. According to
Them, Time saving is more convenient nowadays popular among the young generation.
For the Delivery Place, the GPS system should be on the facility to search service by any
location and home location. For the Payment system, the presentation of online payment
or the other transfer method cash should be available to the customer.
Maintaining and minimizing the cost is the goal of inventory management. It is
also a demand for forecasting and receiving orders for managing stock to keep your
customer happy, Based on the study by Michael Keenan (2022). While stock refers to
the finished product that is available to sell to the customer, inventory might include
materials to make the product as well as the finished goods.
Based on the GAAP two types of inventory accounting methods exist, and they
were the periodic inventory method and the perpetual inventory method. In the past, the
periodic inventory method was used but today, most retailers use the perpetual inventory
method. According to Hamlett (2017), the primary use of a periodic inventory system is
too prior to the point-of-sale, scanners, and computers. These are the companies that sell
lots of merchandise such as drug stores and hardware stores. They found out it is easy
to update its inventory balances periodically instead of trying to account for every it sold.
Likewise, perpetual inventory records each sale of merchandise and places an entry in
the company's inventory account. And it is defined
by Morh (2017) perpetual inventory system that keeps running the company's inventory
and every transaction that causes the decreases and increases of the inventory gets
immediately recorded.
Furthermore, E-shopping is one of the most recent developments in the operations of
both large and small business enterprises According to the author JMESS (2017) Calabar
Nigeria. It offers the opportunity for businesses to establish new competitive standards by
expanding distribution and offering a cost-effective method of providing products and
services to clients or customers through online shopping. Over time with the different
shopping methods being developed and adopted for sole aim of improving the
convenience in shopping on both the part of the customers and that of the shop manager,
especially in the payment made that is why the concept of shopping evolved over time.
Adding to this study they have used the programming language which is the Csharp (C#) for building this project. This is a multi-paradigm programming language
encompassing strong typing, imperative, declarative, functional, generic, objectoriented(class-based), and component-oriented programming disciplines. It was
developed by Microsoft within Its .NET initiative and was approved by the European
Computer Manufacturers Association (ECMA) and International Standards Organization
ISO (ISO/IEC2006). It is intended to be a simple, modern, general-purpose, and objectoriented programming language.
And that is why C# is widely used and known for developing applications, web
applications and web services.
LOCAL STUDIES
Here in the Philippines lots of online shopping platforms are in demand due to the
rise of covid cases last 2020. The online presence of businesses proved most useful
during the pandemic based on Christine Cudis (2021). The study indicated that 87% of
respondents are willing to spend more for ease of access to products or services. Among
Philippines-based respondents, 93% said they highly consider convenience and price
when deciding on what to purchase. 73,276 online businesses are registered according
to the DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) which has recorded a significant increase
in online business registrations (2020). As payment modes, where shopping is fueled by
convenience, 90% of respondents opting for mobile payments should be made more
available based on Preference.
An online food ordering system is software dedicated to taking orders from your
customers and managing them. By making the possibility of launching your own ordering
system is more user-friendly and gain-more comfortable According to Journal Online
(2020).
It is making things easier and the tools that can help you with online marketing,
you don't need a specialist, you can manage them yourself. With the automation of the
system, there's a possibility of a mistake or an error when an order gets reduced
significantly. Some errors are quite costly to fix, and fixing is the largest cause of losses
and waste. Most visitors can reach you by having a system
implemented, who are ready to place an order. This improves your customer
conversion rate by a significant margin, as they do not have to go through the entire
process. The conclusion is that online ordering is an all–in–one solution through the edge
of competition. The scope of features is extremely broad and all of them help you with
managing and leading your business to success.
According to Shasha Lim Uy (2019), one of the alternative online Grocery stores
in the Philippines is the Metro mart, this is the way of effortless shopping and delivers
food and utilities door-to-door. It delivers to 11 cities in Metro Manila and apart from the
usual requirements in the groceries, it has also partnered with floral, pet, beauty, school,
medical, alcohol, and wellness needs.
During the pandemic, the metro mart easily rose to be the number 1 online grocery
store after the fall of honestbee according to Aileen (2020). It is an online grocery delivery
service in the Philippines. Both work and at home it is beneficial for them to shop online
instead of going outside.
It eases the need to wait in a long line to search from a store for items and goods.
On the metro mart website, you can see the confirmed address will welcome you first
before proceeding to the homepage. To start the process of the transaction you need to
log in as they need your information. After registering and logging in you will see the
categories, the list of the products, and the cart. With every product, they have a quantity
button for you to be able to increase or reduce your items. After adding to the cart to
proceed to the payment section you will see the payment option and the delivery. They
will inform you for the day that their agent will oversee collecting the items from the store.
Until they will call you for the information of changing the item if it is not available in that
store. Afterward, the delivery of the items must be shipped out as soon as possible doorto-door.
To organize process records, and manage the company's financial data, a payroll
system would be presented to the system. According to Verma (2022), its fundamental
purpose is to assist the organization in making timely salary payments to employees. It is
the easiest way to organize the flow of finances. This is the most important task for
business owners, which much not completed. The benefit of this organized payroll
management is that it will have peace of mind and more focus on growing business and
properly disburse the payment.
One of the Popular Authentic stores here in the Philippines is the Kim store (2017).
They are selling Gadgets, Accessories, Appliances, and more. They have a management
system where they sell their products. At The Homepage, you can see the list and
category of the products, filtered by brand and by price. They add the cart button and the
cart where you can see the number of the product that you inputted. In the Login system,
you will see the welcome message and the login form which are the needed email address
and password. If you are not yet registered, you can access the Register button. In the
ordering system, they ask if you are a guest or a member
already, and after checking out you need to input all the information that they
needed. In the Payment section, they provided payment options which are, Cash on
Delivery, Meet up, Online Payment, or even installment. And For the Delivery, the option
is Regular Delivery only.
According to Abe Olandres (2017), Kim Store is a multi-awarded (PLDT
#BetheBoss Awardee, Go Negosyo Awardee) to Kim Lato. As they are Growing And
working hard to provide the best deals and only the best products, they are also
committed to staying connected with their customers through various social media
platforms.
SYNTHESIS
The popularity of online shopping or stores nowadays is increasing, as it is said in the
study (2021). More than 73 million Filipinos are Registered users and 99% of them are
active on social media. For local businesses, the strategy of survival is to pivot to ecommerce in the online sphere. The best retail system has custom features and reports
that provide you with insights that you can incorporate into your sales, marketing, and
customer service efforts. To deploy an order management system (OSM)
should follow the features in the system, client, Data management, integration, Delivery,
and stocks. By these, the system should have an Inventory system for managing the
stocks. The goal of inventory is to maintain and minimize the cost and for forecasting and
receive orders for managing stock to keep your customer happy. To prevent
Technical issues with the products the important things are to make sure to closely track
customer orders and ensure that their products get into their hands safely and on time.
Based on the related study, the management system will have a significant impact on the
client as they will benefit from the system. For keeping, counting, monitoring and utilizing
the flow of the production, the system will be the core of the process. Some of the studies
which are the metro mart and Kim store proved that implementing the management
system will surely make your business grow and give you valuable insight on what to
spend and/or where and ensures customer satisfaction.
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
The Proponents had gathered all related research about the project and had the
discussion about what technologies will be used. As the project is still ongoing, the
proponents will still search for tools and software that can help improve the development
of the system to be made.
The study is about store management systems that are accessible in any browser
and any devices such as computers, laptops or mobile phones.
Operating System
An operating system (OS) is system software that manages computer hardware, and
software resources, and provides common services for computer programs. Time-sharing
operating systems schedule tasks for efficient use of the system and may also include
accounting software for cost allocation of processor
time, mass storage, printing, and
other resources.
For hardware functions such as input and output and memory allocation, the operating
system acts as an intermediary between programs and the computer hardware, although
the application code is usually executed directly by the hardware and frequently makes
system calls to an OS function or is interrupted by it.
Operating systems are found on many devices that contain a computer – from cellular
phones and video game consoles to web servers and supercomputers.
The dominant general-purpose personal computer operating system is Microsoft
Windows with a market share of around 76.45%. macOS by Apple Inc. is in second place
(17.72%), and the varieties of Linux are collectively in third place (1.73%). In the mobile
sector (including smartphones and tablets), Android's share is up to 72% in the year 2020.
According to third-quarter 2016 data, Android's share on smartphones is dominant with
87.5 percent with a growth rate of 10.3 percent per year, followed by Apple's iOS with
12.1 percent with per year decrease in market share of 5.2 percent, while other operating
systems amount to just 0.3 percent. Linux distributions are dominant in the server and
supercomputing sectors. Other specialized classes of operating systems (specialpurpose operating systems), such as embedded and real-time systems, exist for many
applications. Security-focused operating systems also exist. Some operating systems
have low system requirements (e.g. light-weight Linux distribution). Others may have
higher system requirements.
Some operating systems require installation or may come pre-installed with purchased
computers (OEM-installation), whereas others may run directly from the media (i.e. live
CD) or flash memory (i.e. USB stick).
CSS
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a stylesheet language used to describe the
presentation of a document written in HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) or XML
(including XML dialects such as SVG, MathML or XHTML). CSS describes how elements
should be rendered on screen, on paper, in speech, or on other media.
CSS is among the core languages of the open web and is standardized across Web
browsers according to W3C specifications. Previously, the development of various parts
of CSS specification was done synchronously, which allowed the versioning of the latest
recommendations. You might have heard about CSS1, CSS2.1, and CSS3. However,
CSS4 has never become an official version.
From CSS3, the scope of the specification increased significantly and the progress on
different CSS modules started to differ so much, that it became more effective to develop
and release recommendations separately per module. Instead of versioning the CSS
specification, W3C now periodically takes a snapshot of the latest stable state of the CSS
specification.
HTML
HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the most basic building block of the
Web. It defines the meaning and structure of web content. Other technologies besides
HTML are used to describe a web page's appearance/presentation (CSS) or
functionality/behavior (JavaScript) By Hostinger Academy (2021).
"Hypertext" refers to links that connect web pages to one another, either within a single
website or between websites. Links are a fundamental aspect of the Web. By uploading
content to the Internet and linking it to pages created by other people, you become an
active participant in the World Wide Web.
HTML uses "markup" to annotate text, images, and other content for display in a Web
browser. HTML markup includes special "elements" such as <head>, <title>, <body>,
<header>, <footer>, <article>, <section>, <p>, <div>, <span>, <img>, <aside>, <audio>,
<canvas>, <datalist>, <details>, <embed>, <nav>, <output>, <progress>, <video>, <ul>,
<ol>, <li> and many others.
An HTML element is set off from other text in a document by "tags", which consist of the
element name surrounded by "<" and ">". The name of an element inside a tag is case
insensitive. That is, it can be written in uppercase, lowercase, or a mixture. For example,
the <title> tag can be written as <Title>, <TITLE>, or in any other way. However, the
convention and recommended practice is to write tags in lowercase.
JavaScript
JavaScript is a dynamic programming language that is used for web development, web
applications, game development, and lots more. It allows you to implement dynamic
features on web pages that cannot be done with only HTML and CSS According to
Megida (2021).
Many browsers use JavaScript as a scripting language for doing dynamic things on the
web. Any time you see a click-to-show dropdown menu, extra content added to a page,
and dynamically changing element colors on a page, to name a few features, you're
seeing the effects of JavaScript.
Without JavaScript, all you would have on the web would be HTML and CSS. This alone
limits you to a few web page implementations. 90% (if not more) of your web pages would
be static, and you would only have the dynamic changes like animations that CSS
provides. JavaScript, on the other hand, is a dynamic programming language that
supports Math calculations, allows you to dynamically add HTML contents to the DOM,
creates dynamic style declarations, fetches contents from another website, and lots more.
Next.js

building and adapting to online reality. You can easily add new features and react to rapid
changes much faster than ever before to stay competitive. It allows you to build both
simple and complex web applications much faster and easier. The hottest topic in the
web development world lately is Next.js, which is widely used by the biggest and most
popular companies all over the world like Netflix, Uber, Starbucks, and Twitch. And

CHAPTER III
SOFTWARE DESIGN, PRODUCTS, AND OR PROCESSES
This part of the study covers the researcher's software design, requirements,
implementation, operation, or support arrangements that pertain to the system item, or
any data used by a system item. It explains how it operates and how to use it. The goal
is to provide a framework and model for the recording and the development which is
needed for the development and the maintenance of the system.
This section shows how the details of the capstone are in accordance with HIPO or
Hierarchical-Input-Process-Output. This will explain each part in its follows.
This Figure shows the Management system of the Aquilas which includes the following:
Ordering system, shipping, inventory payroll, and attendance.
Figure 1.1(Home Page)
Shows the Homepage where all the introductions of the beneficiary, and the
registration of users in the system. This page is where you can log in, you can choose
your selected products to be added to the cart and proceed to the payment page.
Figure 1.2 Registration and Login
Users are required to register and input their information under Registration
and Verification. To register, they must fill out the required field on an electronic
form. It contains the Full Name, Position, Complete Address, Email Address, Mobile
Number, Password, and a confirmed password. After they have registered, users
can now access and log in to their account using their email address and password.
If the users are done with their transaction, they can now sign out of their account
by clicking logout button.
Figure 1.3 Forgot Password
When they forget their password, users can retrieve it by using the Forgot
Password feature using their email address or mobile number and answering the
security questions. The System will ask the user for the verified email address and
or Number, in this case, it can recognize the user's account and be the channel the
link is securely sent to. The message sent to the email or number that this would
be the link to a page that allows the user to reset their password. And could be a
code for the user to provide on a page to verify their password.
In Reset password, whether it's a verification code or a link to click behind an email
address, the next page should be a clear text field to enter a new password. After
the password has been reset, indicate the success and push their momentum to
their initial intent to login.

serves as a guide to how the products are produced. A short owner's profile and the
history of the making of the crab paste.
Figure 1. 5 Shipping
The customer will choose the shipping option after they have decided to buy the product.
This could be online payment or cash on delivery. After the mode of payment, they can
select the mode of delivery that is for delivered or picked up.

gathering will accurate and for updating for new employee's information.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE/SYSTEM FLOW
The image below is the system flow of the project entitled Management system for
Aquilas. It is designed to provide for common devices such as computers, tablets, and
mobile phones. With a simple architecture, it will be easy for users and administrators
alike to access the system.
Figure 2.1 The System Architecture of Aquilas Management
System.
Figure 2.2 IPO Conceptual Design
Conceptual Design
The researchers started to develop the system. This phase describes the
necessary requirements, features, and operations that satisfy the functional requirements
of the developed system that is in place. The researchers used the IPO MODEL or the
Input-Process-Output flow of the system to describe how the objectives and the process
of the system have been planned. This phase decides how the system operates.
Input
•
User's Information
This is the phase that will start the system, wherein the user's information
or data will be input into the login/Registration system
Process
•
Orders
It is where customers are properly prepared and place their order that has been
added to the cart for the fulfillment of their order. This is where the admin/staff receives
a customer's order, and order details including the item quantities, shipping details, and
delivery address that will be sent to the system.
•
Payment
For the payment method, the customer has an option if the payment is
Cash on delivery or online payment.
•
Shipment
The process where the shipment of the products.
•
Employees 'Attendance
They need to log in to track their working hours.
Output
The final product of the study is a management system for Aquilas, it is a web-based
system that everyone can access through a desktop, laptop, or even mobile phone in any
browser. This Phase also is the Implementation of the system wherein the 3 proponents
will meet the client and discuss if the recommended functions, problems, and suggestions
of the client and respondents are met.
Software Development
During Analysis and Design, the researchers did an interview with the Aquilas owner
where the study was conducted. The respondents were given the chance to suggest
and request how the system will be designed and developed. After conducting the data
gathering, researchers made an initial design for the developing system.
This process has been developed to guide the process and the researchers by using the
Scrum model. This is appropriate for the development cycle of the system, it includes
Product backlog, Sprint backlog, and Increment.
Figure 3. Scrum model by Ken Schwaber and jeff Sutherland
Method of Research
The researcher used Scrum, which is an Agile development methodology used in
the development of software research. Agile methodologies are a group of incremental
and iterative methods that are more effective and have been used in project management.
The objective of Scrum is achieved by optimizing the development process by identifying
the tasks, managing time more effectively, and setting up teams. A review of the literature
reveals that there is a lack of statistical evidence to conclude which
methodology is more effective in dealing with the traditional project management factors
of budget handling, risk control, quality of the project, available resources, having clear
project scope, and schedule handling. This research statistically compares the
effectiveness of the Scrum methods in terms of their effects on the project management
factors for software development projects. Numerical analysis is performed based on
survey responses from those with experience in the Scrum methods. Results suggest that
Scrum led to the development of successful projects and can be a better method in terms
of managing project schedules according to Lei Howard (2017).
This study describes developmental research in terms of the traditional stages of
planning, conducting, and reporting a research project problem definition, literature
reviews, and research procedures. This type of agile consists of meetings, roles, and
tools to meet the project's end. The method of how researchers collected data, used
interviews to get in-depth and to gather data. It consists of three people interviewing the
client for personal and/or detailed information. The interviewer asked questions and or
any suggestions from the client.

REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS
The proponents gathered information about the management system to be developed for
the Aquilas Homemade Food Trading. This is where the requirements have been
gathered and to understand the customer's perspective. To make the system smooth for
the users, they should instruct properly and provide them with a user-friendly system.
Figure 4.1 Current Flow of Aquilas Homemade Food Trading
The figure above shows the current flow of their selling products online and
physically. The owner posted on some platforms on social media like Facebook to
connect with the customer. The customer starts to chat in the store while waiting for the
response, others are not replying because of a long wait for a response. If the customer's
transaction is successful, they will pay for what they have agreed and the employee from
the store will start to repack and go to the nearest LBC branch for the delivery if it is
outside NCR or provinces. If the customer is around NCR, they will be booked to the Grab
or Lala move. Then the customer will receive the product.
Figure 4.2 Management system of Aquilas Homemade Food Trading
The figure above shows the flow of the process between the user's view and the
system. Along with the process, the user has an existing account in the system database.
When the user forgets their password, the code will be sent to their email or mobile
number for verification. The user can search for the product and manage the cart by
clicking the cart button.
The Database will check if the products are sufficient, it will request to change
products if the said product is not available. For checking out the item it will directly to the
shipping options and proceed to delivery.
BLOCK DIAGRAMS
The admin's page includes the orders, delivery if there's a pending delivery, the
product duct supplies, Reports for the orders or services that have been reported,
