Mathematics allows us to connect with both the natural world and the other living and non-living things
that are part of it. We may use mathematics to predict outcomes and discover solutions that will improve our lives.
It can also help us organize things to find a better one that is compatible with one another. Mathematics may help
us in controlling nature and the occurrences of the world for our own purposes, as well as assist us in thinking
logically and dealing with a variety of issues in a methodical and efficient manner.
Although it is almost impossible to control nature, mathematics may be used to better understand why it
is such a powerful force as well as how things grow and form. The Fibonacci sequence illustrates how elements of
nature, such the quantity of petals on a flower or the coils on a shell, grow in number. Understanding them can
help us make minor adjustments to the particular creatures. We build models using mathematical techniques that
match what we can measure and see in the real world. models that are quite effective at predicting the occurrence
of natural events.
Algebra, for example, can be used to describe how quickly water becomes contaminated and how many
people in a third-world country who drink that water might get sick every year. There are other fields of
mathematics that can also be used to explain the occurrences in the world. The mathematics of architecture can
be understood through a study of geometry. The number of people killed in conflicts, earthquakes, and other
natural disasters around the world can be estimated using statistics and probability. It can also predict financial
success, the spread of ideas, and the potential repopulation of once-endangered species of animals.
