PERSONAL STATEMENT
As an individual, I have always been drawn to challenges that require creative problem-solving
and leadership skills. One situation where I demonstrated initiative and leadership was when I
noticed that there was a lack of resources and support for young people dealing with mental
health challenges in my community. I wanted to do something to address this issue, so I decided
to organize a community event to raise awareness and promote mental health education.
I reached out to mental health professionals and local organizations to gather information and
resources, and I enlisted the help of other youth advocates to help plan and promote the event.
We created flyers and social media posts to spread the word and encourage attendance.
The event was a great success, with many young people and their families attending to learn
about mental health and find support. We had guest speakers, interactive activities, and resource
booths, which provided valuable information and resources for those in attendance. Through
this initiative, I was able to make a positive impact on the mental health of young people in my
community. By taking on a leadership role and working collaboratively with others, we were
able to raise awareness, provide support, and make a difference.
My interest in Information Technology (IT) stems from the desire to be a part of a field that is
constantly evolving and presents new challenges to solve.
Additionally, IT is a constantly evolving field that requires continuous learning and staying upto-date with the latest technologies and trends. This keeps the work fresh and exciting, and it
provides the opportunity to continuously develop new skills and grow as a professional.
I am fascinated by the power of technology to transform and improve various aspects of our
lives. I see IT as a field with limitless possibilities, and I am excited about the potential to work
on innovative projects and apply my problem-solving skills to find solutions to complex issues.
Being selected as an SEO African intern is a great opportunity for me to develop my skills in
IT and gain valuable experience in the industry. I am impressed by SEO Africa's commitment
to providing opportunities for talented individuals to gain the skills and experience needed to
succeed in various fields including the field of IT. As an SEO African intern, I hope to learn
from experienced professionals and gain exposure to the latest technologies and trends in the
