WONDERS OF THE WORLD
Want to Visit All New Seven Wonders of the World?
Would you like to visit all seven new wonders of the world? Do you have three months free and an
extra $18,000 in your bank account? If the answer is yes, then this round-the-world tour might be
for you.
The travel company, Contiki, has created a unique experience: an 82-day round-the-world trip that takes in seven
of the new wonders of the world. On the "7 Wonders" tour you will visit seven countries across four continents,
beginning in Delhi and ending in Rome. Your $18,000 includes international flights, accommodation, and meals.
But where are these new seven wonders and what are they? Only one of the original seven wonders of the world,
the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, still exists so, in 2007, following a competition, seven new wonders of the
world were chosen from a list of 200 existing monuments. Some of the monuments and landmarks to miss out
included Britain’s Stonehenge, the Acropolis in Athens, Cambodia’s Angkor Wat and the Kremlin in Moscow.
The new wonders were named as:

The city is by far Peru’s most visited tourist attraction.
D.
