WIRESHARK INSTALLATION
1. Go to Google and search “WireShark”.
2. Click the first “Download” link that pops up, from the official
Wireshark website.
3. You will be taken to the download page of Wireshark where you will
be asked to choose a download option, appropriate to your device. I
am working on a Windows x64 computer so I will choose the first
option.
4. After clicking the download link, Wireshark will now start
downloading.
5. After downloading, locate the .exe file on your file explorer and
double click it to start installation.
6. Proceed with the installation process, selecting the file
directory, the extensions and add-ons you want to omit or download.
7. Wait for Wireshark Installation Setup to finish.
8. After the setup has finished, you will be asked to Reboot your
computer in order to complete the installation process.
9. After rebooting, open Wireshark and you’re done!
