C.E. Month Celebration aims to achieve four out of the ten objectives of the Institute.
The advancement of the knowledge and practice of civil engineering.
The professional improvement of its members.
The promotion of good public and private clientele relationship.
The development of the fellowship among civil engineers.
Coverage of the Event (November 3, 2020 up to November 30, 2021)
Competition for Best Celebrated Civil Engineering Month 2021 (Coverage of Activities shall be
from November 1-30, 2021).

Hold Technical Symposium/Seminar/Webinar Product Exhibit or Presentation– 10 PTS.
Community Extension Programs i.e. COVID-19 Initiative etc. (Note: activity organized by PICE QC Chapter
shall be considered.) – 20PTS.
Publication of a special Feature Story on the Practice of civil engineering in a local or national paper–10PTS.
Hold Sports Tournaments (virtual or otherwise) – 10 PTS.
Organize motorcade or any similar virtual activity – 20 PTS.
Courtesy Call to the Mayor or Governor or Congressman– 5 PTS.
Arrange and hold local TV or Radio Interview– 5 PTS.
Hold Thanksgiving Mass – 5 PTS.
Put up streamers at key locations announcing the celebration of the Civil Engineering Month – 5 PTS.
Printed News release on the activities of the sub chapter during the CE Month Celebration in a local or
national paper and/or in the digital media platforms/newspaper– 10 PTS.
ADDITIONAL POINTS
11. Participant’s to the Chapter’s Webinar – 10 PTS.
12. Delegation to the 2021 PICE Virtual National Convention – 10 PTS.
HOW TO JOIN THE COMPETITION
1. Compile the photos & illustrations of your entry in accordance with the criteria numbered ACTIVITY
1-13. All photos should be labeled with the Code No. of Activity and the Description and
Date(s) of the Activity. A maximum of 2 photos per activity (uniform size 4 in. x 7 in.) will
be allowed. Evidences that are not properly marked shall not be considered. PRINT AND E-COPY
SHALL BE SUBMITTED AS FINAL ENTRY.
2. Deadline for submission of digital copy entries is on December 6, 2021, 5:00 PM. thru email at
piceqcc@yahoo.com and picequezoncity@gmail.com
3. Non-compliance with the above guidelines shall be automatically disqualified.
