EXAM 1 STUDY GUIDE
This “study guide” is designed to help you with your study habits. It is not a comprehensive list of
possible questions, and it doesn’t guarantee any particular grade on the exam. It is just a metric to help
you gauge how prepared you are for the exam. The quality of your effort and your individual skill at
applying the course knowledge still plays a large part in how well you perform on the exam. Use this to
supplement your own efforts in preparing for the exam, not as a checklist that guarantees an A.
Emphasis
Intro to Algorithms ≈ 40%
Intro to Computer Programming ≈ 60%
Format
Paper & pen/pencil only. Closed book/notes. Approximately 10 questions, some of which are multipart. Expect to show work, explain answers, and write clean & legibly.
