A. INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
1. Greetings
Good morning Class! Please Stand up for our
prayer.
Dela Rama, please lead the prayer.

Is there anyone absent today?
Okay class, give yourselves a very good clap
for being perfect attendance today.
Before we start, please arrange your chairs
and pick up those pieces of paper under your
chair and dispose of them in our trash can.
4. Review/Drill
Yesterday, we tackled the procedures for
sterilization and sanitation of Nail Care tools
and equipment and the Classification of
functional and non-functional tools and
equipment, Why is it important to learn how to
sanitize and sterilize our equipment and nail
care tools?
B. DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES
1. Motivation
The teacher will ask the following questions:

Have you ever observed a nail salon or
do your nails at home? What cleaning
agents did you use?


2. Activity
Have you ever experienced an injury or
infection caused by dirty or unsanitized
beauty/nail care tools?
How do you usually clean and maintain
your own beauty/nail care tools and
equipment?
Last meeting I asked you to bring your favorite
nail care tools. Today we will be having an
activity called “What's in Your Bag?" I would
like you to show your nail care tools and share
to the class your own cleaning and
maintenance tips and techniques with your
classmates.
"Cleaning Olympics"
The teacher will divide the class into two
groups and provide them with various
beauty/nail care tools and equipment that have
not been cleaned. Each group must clean the
tools and equipment as thoroughly and quickly
as possible using the proper cleaning agents
and techniques they have learned in class.
The learners must take down notes of all
the procedures they did during the activity and
identify throughout the lesson if they did it right.
3. Analysis
The teacher will ask the following questions;

How did you determine which cleaning
agent to use for each tool/equipment?
What were the proper cleaning

The teacher will also emphasize the role
of personal hygiene in maintaining the
cleanliness of tools and equipment, as well as
the importance of proper storage to prevent
damage and contamination.
5. Application
The teacher will group the students into four
groups. The first group will Design a Cleaning
Station: In groups, students can design a
cleaning station for a beauty/nail care salon.
They should consider what tools and
equipment are necessary for the station, how
to organize the cleaning supplies, and how to
make the station efficient for the nail
technicians. They can present their designs to
the class and discuss the benefits of each.

The second group will be having a role play:
Other students will act as the nail technicians,
and the others as the customers. The nail
technicians must demonstrate how they clean
and sanitize their tools using cleaning agents
before using them for the customer. After the
demonstration, the customer must inspect the
tools to ensure that they are clean and
sanitized.
