Unit 14
Weather
Reading Aloud
It is a sunny day. You can see people, playing in the park or having a picnic. But if it gets too hot,
we may need an ice cream or a cold drink to cool down.
Whenit is windy, it is a good time to fly a kite! The kites can fly up very fast because of the strong
wind. Be careful they don't get blown away!
Before it rains, the sky turns dark. The clouds gather in the sky and soon raindropsstart falling.
Everyone runs for shelter. Sometimes, there are thunder and lightning so please be careful!
At last the rain stops. Can you smell the fresh air? The plants look happy, and sometimes there is
a rainbowtoo. There are seven colours in the rainbow. Can you name all of them?
