Reflection
Are your audience, purpose and thesis aligned? Why or why not?
R1.
I believe my audience, purpose, and thesis are appropriately aligned because we all are
gathered to say our last goodbye at this funeral/farewell event. We all want to remember
my friend's good deeds and contributions to our lives.
What did you learn from this experience?
R2.
Well, I can say that writing a eulogy is not very difficult because the main things are facts
that we know and remember about that person. In the speech, we try to look at his life
positively. However, delivering the speech can be difficult because emotions are involved
when remembering some of the good memories at times might be overcome with
emotions and might have difficulty speaking during the speech.
