Components of an Activity Plan for Visual Art I.OBJECTIVES Content Standard Demonstrates understanding of shapes, textures, colors and repetition of motif, contrast of motif and color from nature and found objects. Performance Creates prints from natural and man-made objects that can be repeated or Standard alternated in shape or color. Learning Identify natural and man-made objects with repeated or alternated shapes and Competencies colors and materials that can be used in print making. (A2EL- IIIa) II. CONTENT Print Making Learning Teachers guide Resources III. PREPARATION Student Materials Bondpaper, leaves, paint, brush. Logistics The students will prepare and bring the needed materials for the said activity. Class Management The teacher will set a rules for the students and let the students prepare the materials needed. IV. PROCEDURE Pre Activity Review the past lesson about the use of two or more kinds of lines, colors and shapes through repetition and contrast to create rhythm. The teacher will present a video related to their activity for them to be guided and will have insights for the activity that they will be doing. Lesson Proper The teacher will introduce the activity. The teacher will introduce the benefits of the activity such as: It enhance their creativity and also their skills. The teacher will present a rubric on how the students will be graded. Guided Practice Independent Practice Post Actvity The teacher will instruct the students to let them choose/ pick their favorite color and start putting colors on the leaves and print it in a bondpaper. The students will form any shapes that they like using the leaves. The students will perform the activity and also the teacher will demonstrate first what to do. The teacher will roam around to guide the student’s activity. Help the learners to come up with the idea that they can create different designs or objects using leaves, twig, vegetables, banana stalks, bark of trees and etc. The students will form any shapes and choose any colors they like using the leaves independently. Instruct the learners to display their finished art works. Appreciate the art works of the learners through the rubrics. V. ART APPRECIATION Self Expression The students will present their art works in front of the class and share their insights about it. Appreciation The teacher will collect their art works and display it to the art corner creatively. Conclusion The teachers will ask the students the learning that they got from the activity. The teacher will ask the students what are the materials they used and explain why they choose those colors and materials. How they achieve the shape by just using the leaves and what process they made to come up with a very nice art work. VI. ASSESSMENT The teacher will rate their output using the rubrics to measure if the students really applied the criteria that is presented in the rubrics. The teacher will give comments to their sharing of outputs and also compliments to give motivation to the students.
