A Journey In the modern fanciful world hedged with the internet, everything is accessible just a click away. Far removed from the amenity seen on the internet, I reside in a small village in Pakistan where a very tiny population goes to school and achieves something in their life instead of education the children start helping their parents from a very young age just like their ancestors did. But I had a very different vision of life, a vision of higher education and a purposeful future, and to achieve it I had to strive hard as the journey ahead was intricate. From the very beginning, my father was considered a risk taker because he spent the last of what he had saved from his driving career on my education. My father knew I could be a trailblazer as he saw aspiration and desire for education in me. Spending stacks of money blindly on my education, not knowing of the outcomes to expect my father was titled a madcap but despite that he was very confident in me and such indictments of culture did not offend him. He acknowledged my hunger for education initially, even before I understood it myself. The more I studied, the more I craved to know, as in an incessant state of mental hunger I found leisure in studying. During my high school years, I realized boundless sacrifices had to be made to acquire big dreams. With no additional money to pay for my high school, the depth of his sacrifices became apparent. I manifested to help my father with the payments through my innovative ideas so I started a small-scale fries business across my village but I failed as it required a lot of time and attention. I could not imagine the pressure and stress my father suffered because of huge my huge tuition costs. His objective to help me reach my dream through education appeared to be falling but ultimately he somehow managed to carry this burden with a wide smile and took an extra part-time job at the local pharmacy 2 kilometers away from the village so I could be able to complete my education without any disruptions. His altruistic and magnanimous behavior gave me an understanding of how we, as people, play a part in helping to reach each other's dreams and aspirations. I feel extremely proud to say that my Dad is the wealthiest person I know-not financially but by his heart and charisma.
