FURAHA COMMUNITY HIGHSCHOOL WELFARE
This welfare started on April 2023 as a proposal and it was agreed and approved by the staffs
present at that particular period.
The members at stake are;

POLICY
1. All Members shall contribute ksh 500/=, monthly, from which 100/=, is registration fee
from the first contribution as a member.
2. Members can access a one-month loan at an interest rate of 5%, which must be paid in
due time or attract a penalty of 200 in addition to the interest.
3. Members should give their monthly contributions to the treasurer by 1st of every month,
any payment beyond this date it will attract a fine of 100/=.
4. Incase a staff who is a member leaves, the following will be adhered to; i). A staff who has been a member for not less than 6 months shall be given ksh
4000/=, as warm send off.
ii). A staff who has been a member for less than 6 months shall be given 3000/= as
warm send off.

5. After every one year there shall be elections conducted to choose leaders in charge of the
welfare i.e. chairman, secretary, and treasurer. To promote equity among members
6. There shall be a team building at the end of every year, to build the unity and love
among members.
7. Members should avail themselves in any official meetings called upon by the
chairman
