Introduction
The human resource management plan in a house renovation project is to achieve project
success. The plan helps acquire appropriate human resources with appropriate qualifications;
they are also trained in case there is a need for that. It is essential for team building techniques as
it defines the strategies required, and the activities the team needs to undertake catered for
adequately. It identifies competencies required for the project goals fulfillment. The human
resource project plan ensures that managers make the best use of its human resource team and
estimate the cost of human resources. They reduce imbalances brought by challenges like
turnover as they deal with the surplus or shortage of staff appropriately.
Roles and Responsibilities
The purpose of a project manager is to control risks and reduces uncertainty in a project. A
project manager has the power to act in the name of the project sponsor executive, and at times
on behalf of the organization. The responsibility of a project manager is to initiate, plan, design,
execute, monitor, control, and successful closure of a project. A project manager has strong
leadership skills to see the project through execution to completion successfully. For instance,
excellent negotiation skills, effective communicator, risk-taker and manager, and excellent
planning skills.
The master electrician is authorized to oversee all electrical work in the renovation. The
responsibility of an master electrician will do all major electrical work and also oversee associate
electrician. Associate electrician will assist master electrician and do minor installation.
The plumbing leader has the role of completing all plumbing work. Work will include removing
old piping and fixtures and replacing with new ones. He will also connect fixtures such as sinks
and toilets. Will address any other plumbing needs as they arise.
The construction leader will lead in roof, structure and cabinet installation teams. Will make sure
all lumber arrives on time and work is correct. Also will monitor painting and clean up teams.

Staffing Management
Staff acquisition and control is all about the human resource requirement to run the project well.
There is a consideration made by the skilled recruiting team. The candidates recruited are to be
competent for a house renovation. It is important to note when the projected will be implemented
while acquiring the staff, and the project is likely to take five weeks. The employees are
therefore supposed to be recruited a week earlier so that they can be trained on how they are
expected by the experts on the issues which are likely to be difficult. They should at that point be
notified on how the renovation project will be performed. Rewards and recognitions will be
made by the house renovation project sponsor in terms of merit. The staffing of this project also
requires the workers to comply with government regulations, they also need to be medically fit
and each worker should have a medical certificate. The project will be insured for the safety of
the staff as they work.
