Ethnicity

Ethnicity is the set of cultural characteristics that distinguishes one group from another
group.

People who share a common cultural background and a common sense of identity are
known as an ethnic group.
For example:
 Muslim do “ the fasting “ in Ramadan so they are Ethnic group
 People from Aswan have their own accent and traditions that is different from other
Egyptians.
 Japanese people wear Kimono , especially in celebrations
 Unlike comics, Japanese draw their “ Manga “ in black in white cause they feel that this
is more expressive
 Most of people in Egypt don’t move out from their house unless they are married unlike
the American society

Ethnicity is based on characteristics such as national origin, religion, language, customs,

land.
Disadvantages:
The absence of leader may lead to that some citizen refuse to do their tasks or share their

 Under feudalism, a king or emperor or chief becomes the ruler over all the people.
Disadvantages:

He gives land and privileges to ‘nobles’ who rule the people for him.
The people are kept uneducated and told that God chose the king to rule. The church
helps the king this way.

Capitalism creates a huge working-class of people who soon get angry at the way they

It leaded to the spreading the idea of letting children work.
Eventually they begin to demand changes. This will lead to a revolution and Socialism.

Because nothing is made for profit, all people benefit from education and health.
These ideas spread across the world to create Communism.

The word “utopia” comes from two Greek words: “oi” (not) and “topos” (place) =

Why does the idea of “UTOPIA “ is inapplicable?
Because the perfect world cannot be existed as the humans are not perfect. All humans
have different negative behavior of “Jealousy and selfishness “in different rates.
