GOOSE MAKES A NEST AT A TRAIN STATION. There is no-one at York station. It is empty. Nobody is taking trains because of Covid-19. One day, some transport police see a goose. It is a Canada goose. There are many Canada geese in the city of York, maybe five hundred. The police are not surprised and the goose flies away. Two days later, the goose comes back! She builds a nest in a flower bed. Then, she lays four eggs! The station controller is very happy. She thinks it is great and she makes posts on social media. They call the goose ‘Mother Goose’ after the pantomime character. Suddenly, the goose is famous! People all over the world hear about this goose. The controller, the transport police and other railway workers want to help the goose. They build a fence around the flower bed and they bring food and water for the goose.
