Introduction
My team and I are now
assigned to select 7 people out
of 15 people who survived the
nuclear bomb explosion. Only 7
people will be selected because
the food stored is not enough
for 15 people a month. So here
we can experience how difficult
it is to make decisions,
especially when life is being
talked about.

1. Who will enter? Reasons.
WHO WILL ENTER?
• Mrs. Reyes. 38 y/o, BS and MS Psychology, counselor in a mental clinic,good
health, one child(Don), and active in community activities.
• Don Reyes, 10 y/o, attended special education classes for 4 years, has a
mental and intellectual Disability, good health, and enjoys pet.
• Mrs. Ck Tengco, 25 y/o, did not finish highschool, pretty exotic dancer,
prostitute, good health. She is breastfeeding her 3-week old child, kaye.
• Kaye Tengco. 3 weeks old, in good health.
• Mrs. Montano. 32 y/o, M.A. in elementary education, teacher, divorce with one
child(Zipporah), good health, outstanding teacher, enjoys working with
children.
• Zipporah. 9 y/o, 3rd grade, excellent student, and in good health.
• Ramon. 22 y/o, burly basketball player. With his size and strength, he is the
only one who can open the shelter door but is very opinionated and will
always stick to his opinions.
Reasons.
• Mrs. Reyes- We choose this person because she knows something about
mental health on how to handle it in a proper way.
• Don Reyes- We chose him because he was young and so naïve. He is also the
only child of Mrs. Reyes.
• Mrs. Ck Tengco- We chose her because she still has a 3 week old baby.
• Kaye Tengco- We chose baby because he was not yet aware of the events, as
if he was just a little baby sleeping who was unaware of the events around
him.
• Mrs. Montano- we chose him because she is good at interacting with children.
• Zipporah- We chose this child because she was the only child of Mrs. Montano
and this child is so innocent to be die just like Kaye Tengco.
• Ramon- We chose him because he is the most important person here because
he is the only one who can open the door shelter to the bomb shelter.
2. Who will not enter?
Reasons.
WHO WILL NOT ENTER?
• Dr. Dannie Reyes. 35 y/o, married, with one child(don). Ph.D in history, college
professor, good health, physically active but hot-tempered, and does not get
along well with others.
• Mr. Kaka Abatayo. 30 y/o, an excellent mechanic who can operate the air
filtration system. However, he cannot control himself with food and always
takes other’s share.
• Dr. Chris Bergantinos. 60 y/o, Medical Doctor, has had 2 heart attacks in the
past 5 years but continues to practice medicine.
• Father Luis. 72 y/o, who preaches the scripture so well. Still healthy and very
happy.
• Sister Ady Mateo. 28 y/o, college graduate, English major, a good singer, and
in good health.
• Clea Gan. 21 y/o, Home Economics Teacher. She has the unique talent of
preparing canned goods appetizingly, and is second to none when it comes to
rationing the food. She does not want to share the room with anyone and
would demand to take a bath daily.
Reasons.
• Dr. Dannie reyes- We didn’t choose him because of his bad attitude and
tendency to start fights.
• Mr. Kaka Abatayo- We didn’t choose him because this person cannot control
himself to eat. Maybe one day if we include this person the stock of the food
will run out.
• Dr. Chris Bergantinos- We also can’t choose this person because if he”s third
heart attack will happen we may be scared because we can't do anything to
help him in his situation.
• Father luis and Sister Ady Mateo- There is really no issue with these two
people, it’s just that the are other survivors are really worth it to be live.
• Clea Gan- We didn’t pick this person even though she is skilled at preparing
canned goods appetizingly because she is so maarte like she needs to take a
bath daily and she needs the room foe herself only.
• Dr. Benjie- We did not choose this person because she is always stick to her
wife but we can't blame him for his actions because he loves her so much.
• Aly- We did not include this person because she has diabetes. Maybe if it gets
3. How did you find the activity? What are your realizations while
going through the process of selecting?
We see this activity as sad, confusing,
and very difficult. What we realized
when we were choosing people who
just needed to be saved was that life is
very important to a person, Because
life is only one its just a we borrow it
from God.
4. In consideration of protecting and valuing life, how would you
justify your decisions?
We can justify our decision because
the people we choose is they need to
be lived in this world because some of
them have daughters or son and child
need a parent to take care of them
that’s why I choose these people to
become if these children will grow
they will make the world better.
5. How does it feel to decide for the life of someone else?
What we felt when we were deciding
on other people’s lives was painful
and difficult because others could not
save their lives. It’s like we’re killing
people so its hurts our feelings that
we have to choose people to be lived
in this world.
